' Wrote:You have that one wrong. "-noflighttext" was hiding only the useless message "Mouse Flight" on the HUD. It is now hidden automatically - as if "-noflighttext" was always enabled.
What you were thinking about is the "-nohud" - hiding all HUD elements, including object names. You can still do that, only better. You can enable / disable it in game with a shortcut, you don't have to quit FL and change your shortcut to do it.
Thanks for good explanation (bow)

Having an issue where sound will get extremely distorted at times. May or may not be related to switching cams a lot, consider spamming V & H keys and seeing if you can reproduce it I guess. If I figure out definitively what's causing it, I'll post it o_o
everything seemed fine at first, but i kept getting random lag when there was no way it was possible, also my FPS would drop to 0 for 6 or more seconds at a time seemingly at random.

Experienced the same problems (again). Still couldn't find what's causing it, it just seems to be random at the moment.
<strike>After inadvertantly launching FL with the -dx setting, I can't change the resolution down from 1280X1024.
EDIT: Dell Inspiron 546, standard Dell monitor, Vista 32-bit. Also, I usually play in an 800X600 window, and 1280X1024 always means part of the game is off the screen.</strike>
Didn't read the whole thing.
