Having bumped into your lot many a time in orbit around the core Bretonian planets, enjoying most of those encounters, even if my credit account shrinks, I am curious whether The Imperio del Corsarios'(and resulting factions) activities in smuggling, the "interaction" with trade ships and the arty trade are limited to offplanet. I honestly did try abit to find stories reflecting this, but searching "Corsair(s) and Planet (name)" along with a host of other terms hasn't been productive.

Do the Corsairs land on the Bretonian planets when they're ..working? Is it a rare but possible occurance or is the ground work done entirely by intermediaries. Any you Corsair types written stories featuring a Corsair operating on Bretonian soil for some reason? I mean this in a temporary sense, completing some meeting or job and then leaving, etc. (Plug your story below)

I am asking as I am presently looking to allude to this concept in one of my stories, and to do so in a very indirect way, with a fair degree of subtlety. As I am clearly not a Corsair, I am not presuming to be very detailed in regards to specifics. Basically what would Corsairs do if a police informant (read:rat) was hiding out on Cambridge? Pay him a visit, I suspect. But I didn't want to do so if the concept is generally thought of as impossible.

I've roleplayed doing so with my main Corsair roleplay, ACIO, although i was more concerned with smuggling back supplies to Crete rather than going after informants.
Course, i'm not exactly one for writing stories, so there you go.
But most Corsairs you'd find in Bretonia are war parties and raiding sorties.
To be honest, i think i'm the only one to ever roleplay a Corsair assassin or spy.

Due to the game mechanics we can't land on bretonian soil but as far as I'm concerned I don't see why we couldn't since the junkers/smugglers/zoners/etc do it. I'm not saying we should tho'

The rat would be dead. I'm sure there are 'sairs living on every planet in Sirius, hiding their origins but working for the good of the Empire.

Thing is, the Corsairs have a Hispanic appearance. Bretonians are pasty white British folks. Nothing says, "arrest me, I'm a spy!" like having a bronzed complexion in the middle of a Cambridge winter. You won't get Bretonian Hispanic nationals, due to the fact there is no legal way Corsairs could have immigrated to Bretonia in the past. A few may filter in from the Zoners, but they'd probably face mindbogglingly massive stigmas due to their past comrades' actions.

And Junkers still use docking rings, not planetary landings. So far as RP goes, most planetside crime in Bretonia is conducted by the Bretonian Buccaneers too. The Corsairs are very much a space-borne threat. The only time Corsairs and Bretonians are going to come into a terrestrial conflict is going to be on Gran Canaria. Corsair raiders frequently attack Bretonian holdings on the planet, such as Port Jackson.

That said, if a Corsair really needed to get down to a planet, I don't see why they wouldn't pay a Junker to smuggle them in. If they were feeling particularly brazen, they could even hijack a Bretonian freighter and fly it down themselves.

Don't Outcasts walk your planets freely?
The only difference in appearance would be the presence of a breather, and i'm no expert on Outcast RP, but are those really required all the time?

I could imadgen a Corsair hiding out on a Bretonian planet.
However, he'd have to be a very sneaky, sneaky Corsair.

However, I would think it much more plausable that the Corsairs would hire a Gaian assassin to do the job for them. I could see that happening all the time, especially on Cambridge. However, if you want a sneaky Corsair, it's not out of the question. Just make sure you don't set a precedent for an army of cannibals popping out of the ground on my lovely Cambridge:P

Let it burn.
