I'm running into an issue where the server I have uploaded all my images posted here, will be gone this coming December.

I'm old school. I hate, hate Web based FTP servers and I'm really looking for a place I can store 500mb or so and use a client-based FTP.

Google's Picaso and the replacement server currently used for my files does not have FTP client access.
I looked at i.imgur.com and it looks dang simple, but I could not find space limits or if it allows Client based FTP.

Xfire holds up to a max of 1000 photos, Photobucket... idk ALOT

Why do you need to use FTP?

With an FTP I can upload a file in 8 seconds and thats from starting up the program double-clicking the file and there, uploaded. I can get the URL link and access the file from any pc that has the FTP client just as fast. It's easy, very very low over head, and web-based FTPs make me want to burn the Internet in a solar fire.

I have Photo Bucket already, I really love it, its the most basic and non evasive web based pic server I have seen, but its not FTP based. Yes, I saw that simple option to make a small purchase and blamo, FTP access...but Im a cheap guy and well...yea.

I'll look into Xfire

Upload time depends almost entirely on upload speed and file size.

Consider Dropbox, though like XFire, it lacks FTP support and uses it's own proprietary client.

imgur.com with hyperdesktop

press F11
screenshot taken and immediatly uploaded, and link to the image in your clipboard. I saved so much time by using this.
