Greetings,
I have been hired by the IMG| to lead a Research and Development program, that much I can tell you, more I cannot.
I wish to conduct some preliminary research before my team and I depart for our mission.
Also there are some supplies that are vital I obtain before we depart.
Here is a list of my needs:
Cryo Cubes- 10
Bio-Neural Processors- 150
Note: I need the best and fastest available on the market. I believe the Lane Hackers manufacture what I need for my particular application.
Prometheum- 2
Note: This is dangerous stuff, please handle with care, or you may not live to make the delivery.
Light Arms- 3
Note: I am a researcher not a weapons expert, I need something small, easy to use and powerful enough to kill a Nomad if need be.
Wine- 50
Note: I want good Gallic wine, not Sirius made crap! I prefer dry or semi-dry red but, a few bottles of dessert wine would be ok as a nice change of pace.
And here is where we may have a problem. I also need 2 Dom K'Vosh artifacts.
I do not want the cheap garden variety artifacts one can find at Pawn Shops all over Sirius.
I need 2 of the best artifacts you can find and they must be in perfect condition!
If this is something your firm can do for me I would appreciate it immensely! As well you will be paid what you require, I have the full backing of the IMG| for my research so you neednt worry about the availability of funds.
Please contact my Laboratory on Battleship Hood with your answer.
I am Evelyne Mallory, and I am representing Mallory & Lambert. I would like to state the interest that M&L has in accepting that transport mission.
I have some questions, though, before I can confirm that we accept:
The following goods are not a problem at all: Cryo Cubes, Bio-Neural Processors, Prometheum, Light Arms, Wine.
Now, you are a scientist and researcher, so "Dom K'Vosh artifact" might actually be a meaningful description of an item to you, it's however not for me and the persons that I contacted. I have requested intel from some experts on the term you used, but have yet to receive answers.
Consequently, any more information that you can give to Mallory & Lambert will the localisation and the recovery of these items much easier, and thus much faster, consequently also cheaper for you.
Please do not misunderstand me: Mallory & Lambert is not interested in what it does, or why you want it. I just need to know the information so that we can actually pinpoint and take it into our posession.
Thank you very much for your trust, Dr. Lynchpin, we will try to gather knowledge and hope that what you can give us as additional knowledge might be enough to give us an idea how difficult that task is. Depending on that, I can give you an idea of how much the costs could be.
Let's close with one business statement that I very much stand for: If it is somehow possible to do, Mallory & Lambert will try it. Help me, so we can give it a try.

Madame Lambert, I appreciate your prompt response to my order. It speaks volumes about your company!
I am surprised you do not know the type of artifacts of which I speak. I thought you would.
Let me first say that whether or not you can procure any artifacts I still need those other supplies.
That being said, on to the artifacts.
As you may know the corsairs seem to have an abundant supply of alien artifacts that they presumably find in their system Omicron Gamma, and systems close by. These artifacts are commonly smuggled into all Sirius systems and can commonly be bought for less than 3000 credits. I have many of these and can hardly produce a noise, or a spark of usefulness from them because they are damaged by radiation, or crude recovery techniques, or just being battered about in space for untold aeons.
Recently it has come to my attention that an artifact of Dom K'vosh origin that is in pristine condition has been discovered in the Orkney system. I thought this was a unique find. It appears however that while extremely rare there are in fact several artifacts of this quality in the hands of a few corporations and wealthy collectors. I need at least one of these artifacts, but would be pleased even more with 2. I dont think I need to mention what an incredible boost to our current technology it would be if someone, me, could unravel its secrets.
I do not care how you procure these artifacts, but it would potentially move my research ahead by many years if I had them. What is more I have funding from one of the wealthiest organizations in Sirius which should motivate you to procure them.
Please let me know when I can expect delivery of the more mundane supplies, as well as the cost.
As to the Artifact I will give you time to do research and establish both a means to procure it and a price to deliver it to me. I say it but would be very happy if there were two.
I look forward to recieving the supplies, it is so hard to get a decent glass of wine around here.

My name is Bera Gaidon.
You asked M&L to deliver something. Here it is.
I hereby apologize for the long time it took us to prepare everything.
However now everything is ready and I'm about to deliver the requested goods.
There're just a few more things we will have to discuss.
1: What are you willing to pay for the goods you asked for?
Name a reasonable price, so we can start the negotiations.
2: When do you want the goods to be delivered? You asked for some rather... interesting... things.
They're all gathered here on the delivery vessel but I need a date.
3: Where do you want the goods to be delivered? I need a location, preferably far away from everything
that could endanger the cargo.
4: Escorts. I'm just careful. Therefore I'd like to take care of that beforehand. Also I had too many
problems with pirates in he past to carry something this valuable without a decent defensive force.

Good Day to you sir!
I cant tell you how pleased I am to hear you have the requested cargo in your possesion!
It is incredibly difficult to come by a good glass of wine these days, makes it hard for a man to focus on his work! And about the artifacts, I cannot wait to get my hands on them, or some robotic hands depending on how dangerous they are. And I appreciate your concerns about the cargo, it simply would not do for it to fall into the wrong hands.
Therefore I can arrange for 2 Gunboat Class vessels and 2 Fighter class vessels to escort you to the Jakarta Orbital Facility in Tau 39. I believe this answers your third and fourth concerns. As to the first, I believe I can offer you 50 million Sirius Credits for the delivery of this cargo. When we have agreed upon a price for the cargo, I will open a multiple-user communication channel to coordinate a rendevous destination and time with our escorts.
I will be leaving for Jakarta shortly, please route any further communication there.

My name is Bera Gaidon.
Let the negotiations start.
I hope you are aware that the objects you asked for are rare and valuable, that are hard to come by.
I could go to a randomly chosen organisation and I don't doubt that they'd pay more.
I won't do so unless we don't come to an agreement. So don't see it as a threat.
1: You placed an order and I will fulfill it. But only for the right price.
50 million SC would barely cover the costs of the preperations.
I would like to double that price.
2: I think we agree that this point should be postponed until we came to an understanding.
3: The location is inappropriate. I can enter this system. But I don't think your defense forces in there will like my presence.. Also closing in on any station there would endanger the cargo.
If you want it to be delivered to Tau-39 I will do so. But I won't bring it near a station.
How does Tau-39 D7/E8 sound? You should bring a transport or a freighter with you, so you can pick up the goods from my vessel.
4: This point has been cleared thoroughly.

I hope I made abundantly clear, that I will pay whatever price is needed for those artifacts. And whatever price is reasonable for the rest of the supplies. I hired your firm because you get the Job done not because you are cheap. That being said, you dont get to run an R&D team by squandering a companies money. So my offer of 50 million credits was in no way meant as an insult. Perhaps a little ignorance of the monetary value of the objects, but from a research perspective, they are priceless.
Therefore: 100 million credits is not a problem.
The date for delivery should be 2 days from the sending of this message.
I understand and appreciate your concern about the delivery location. Being a scientist I sometimes forget about certain logistical problems, hence the hiring of M&L. T-39, D7/E8 will work just fine.
And I am glad the number of escort vessels meets with your approval.
One thing concerns me, it seems you are very...I dont know...serious maybe? All work and no play makes for a very bad existence. So I would like to give you a 10 million credit vacation package with Orbital Spa and Cruise. You can take a cruise to some very exotic and beautiful places in Sirius, or lounge at a couple of their resort planets where all your needs are catered to. M&L might just be working you too hard! ------End transmission

My name is Bera Gaidon.
Let me give you some exact intel about the cargo.
As you asked for no specific origin for the cryo-cubes I just picked them up from planet Erie, Pennsylvania system.
The bio-neural processors you asked for have been purchased from the Hackers. They originate from Cochrane Depot in Ontario.
The prometheum has been purchased from the station Reunion in the Orkney system.
The people there know their jobs. It is stashed in radiation-proof packages that absorb 99.99999973% of the radiation emitted. The rest is not dangerous anymore.
You asked for something hard to come by when it came to the weapons. Something that can kill a nomad and is still easy to use? I had to make a compromise when I purchased the weaponary at Detroid Munitions.
Here we have a QRT-97 assault rifle, manufactured for marines.
It's a projectile weapon that uses vibrating ammunition.
The bullets can penetrate most standard armor, however they are useless against military vehicles and everything with a stronger hull. It is rather easy to use, however one has to carefully read the manual first.
Then there is a OFN-64-1, the lighter version of the common sniper rifles.
It is a one-hand-gun and still delivers significant precision. Using it is easy. Aim, fire, wait for the powercore to cool down. Shooting this weapon more than twice without waiting at least 30 seconds is not recommended as it uses an energy projectile and overheats pretty quickly.
Last but not least I have a L4W-X76 for you. A deadly handgun that has three different fire-modes.
It can either use explosive X76 bullets, common combustion ammunition or armor-piercing projectiles.
Fire works best against living beings, so this might be what you want to use if a nomad comes close. The range of the gun is very limited. It is the most complicated weapon of the three, however it delivers a significant punch and the explosives can even disable weaker energy barriers.
As for the wine I picked the exact thing you asked for. A semi-dry wine from Gallia, called Tannat.
The M&L posesses a few bottles and I picked some of the better ones for you.
The nomad artifacts are stashed in a fingerprint-safe.
It will only open when you lay your left thumb on the lock. It took us a while to program it with your personal code but it should work just fine.
It can be hacked but that is a long procedure that consumes at least three weeks, the Lane Hackers might be able to do it in two.
I hope everything fits your needs.

I am very pleased with the items you delivered into my possession. Everything is exactly as you described. I cant wait to begin my research, these artifacts will be a key to our success, I am sure.
It has also been a very long time since I have had a glass of anything even remotely described as wine. Time to tilt a glass and hit the Jakarta Shooting Range!
