Optimum weapon class and package price

So we've got a lot to write, and I need to know how we do it. The two things I'm stuck on -meaning I don't want to write anything in fear of being incorrect- is the Optimum weapon class for ships and the package price. Where do we find this info or how do we work it out? Many thanks, Febreze.

On ships that haven't been affected by the turret split, the optimum weapon class is one class lower than the lowest class weapon slot on the ship.

For example, the Sabre's lowest class weapon slot is Class 9, making the Optimal Weapon Class 8.

And the Package Price is the Ship price + Price of the Shield given when you buy it + Price of the Scanner given when you buy it.
