With all the new awesomeness of the Core Worlds of Gallia, I couldn't help but be a little disapointed about IDF's so called Off-World HQ.

Here is what it looks like:

To me, it looks like a small habitable area and a lot of docking bays. For a big company headquarters, I'd expect more habitable office towers, and some storage tanks/platforms. Infocard states it should have a capacity of 1600 people, and that it was expanded several times to be able to process the constantly growing amount of shipments.

Construction of the station that was named Sarcelles took five years to complete, and in 506 AGS it was officially opened. In years to come, it was rebuilt and expanded several times to match an increasing amount of IDF shipments heading through Sarcelles to and from the Gallic Border Worlds.

Then there is Etampes Shipping Platform.

It has 25% of the capacity, yet the station model is the same size, and it has extra storage units.

I saw a lot of fancy new modules on the other stations in Gallia. Would it be possible to expand the size of the base a little? Make it a little more impressive to look at? Resembling the fact it is one of the primary IDF Stations?

It is a shipping company HQ so i think there's not much of a problem with the station itself.

HOWEVER

As stated, it's a SHIPPING COMANY HQ. There needs to be more activity around it, theres plenty of space to add a few storage depots, perhaps a weapons platform or two. Would make it look a bit more... well not realistic but realistic in regards to the information provided.

Y'know... the majority of people is complaining that Gallia is too big as it is... :laugh:

I decided to give the modding a go myself, and this is what I have so far. Already looks much better I think. Is there any chance this update can make it into 86? You devs just have to copypasta my additions :nyam:

Don't worry, you'll find there is not a great deal of consistency when it comes to station capacity and population.

Best to take those minor details with a grain of salt.

Though, it gives me an idea for a Disco concept-proofing team. Could be good retro-active use of the Infocard team to see if we've been consistent amongst ourselves. But uh, bugs first.

It's like the inside of a mini-cooper. Larger than you would expect.

Basically, there's a lot of hammer space in there. A portal to another dimension with loads of space.

Jokes aside. When they said "expanded several times" I would assume it would be larger than that. It needs to be way bigger.
