Those people, for whom English is an ESL, will understand me better than the native speakers.

So, I am flying through a system in my trader and another captain is asking me to stop. I could not, because I was on a time schedule, so I tell him: "I can't, I am on the clock."

Thanks god, I noticed that the letter L did not go through and I corrected the error. In my language the translation is even more hilarious.

Similar story happened to me back in the day, when I was still in college. I had to write an essay about my immigration experience and how it affected me. I invited a girl, which i really liked, to help me with my work, check for grammar, spelling, etc. Well, we wrote an essay, smoked up a tad (i know, but it was a looooooong time ago) and I had to give my essay a title. Well, I thought about it and decided to name it STUCK IN BETWEEN, as in between of two cultures.
I notice that she looks at me kind of strange with a weird face expression. I look at her, she looks back at me, I keep looking at her...i look at my screen and notice that T didn't go through and my essay is called SUCK IN BETWEEN. I am guessing she thought I was hinting at something. Well, after she saw me getting all red and correcting the error we had a good laugh. All and all, I got a good grade for the essay, but the girl wasn't interested in me, only as friends...

Hard disk with the s getting replaced by a c accidentally is a pretty common one. My favourite as well.

It's funny how often it is that whenever you actually do make a spelling mistake, it's going to be one that has some hints of sexuality in it. Freudian slips and all that.

This is a very interesting concept, since you are talking about Freud and me really liking that girl. Perhaps somewhere deep in my subconscious I was dreaming about her..dunno... But you brought up a very interesting point.

Know the feeling, has been worse in the past though

so? I'm dutch... I don't care about smoking...

And yes subconscious can do funny things with the brain. Had plenty of similar experiences. It can even make your mind do things you didnt want to do and then did want to do not do.

As in when graduating, thinking about not shaking teacher x's hand coz you truly hated him and then thinking neah, I'll shake his hand anyway coz that is the decent way to do and then unconciously completly ignore teacher X. Have had it, loved not doing it in the end!

Formatowanie Patrycji (Formatting Patricia) instead: Formatowanie Partycji (Formatting Partition)

what end quite nice 'fight' with his girlfriend (Ann)

If you're interested in more you should read up on psychoanaylsis in general. Though freud is the only one who relates a lot of things to sex. He was crazy, but pretty smart at the same time.

I am thinking about reading Freud for quit a while now, but I am afraid I will be like him.:)I love psychology and if you could recommend me some materials, just to see if it will flow with me, I would be grateful.

Depends on what you're looking for really. Psychology is a massive field. A good starting point would be just to read up on some of the bigger experiments. The Stanford prisoner and the Milgram obedience experiments are probably a good start. Really, it just depends on what you want to read about.
