' Wrote:Junker styled Firefly? Now that sounds about right. I'd love to something of the kind.
If the Firefly was textured as it is in the series then that would make it junkerish. Remember the scene where the ship dealer is trying to sell Mal a flashy new ship and Mal turns round and sees a hunk of junk called Serenity? Mind you if Marburg is right then it will disappear anyway in a later mod.

I'd rather see it with Bretonian stylings and a new models that roughly resembles the current Firefly in shape. It's a very distinctive shape, so it'd be very easy to incorporate aspects while creating an original model. Bretonian skin would be good.
And currently, no ships can be claimed by Bretonian corporations anyway. The Shetland and Shire and both specifically named as constructed by Bowex, but they're still Bret Civilian. We don't get any choice in who they're sold to or how they're used.
' Wrote:Eh, why's that? Jinx is good with ship models afaik. Textures too iirc.
His models are too complex, his textures are never properly mapped. It's exactly the opposite of what you'd want for this game - or any game, for that matter.

No offense, Jinx, but I'd rather have quality over quantity.
