My browser (Firefox) freezes whenever I open some sites, most notably Gmail. Any ideas?

EDIT: Oh, and while I'm at it, instead of making a new thread, does anybody have a decent program that will convert MP3s to .wav? kthnks lawl.

You probably have tried searching for updates for the firefox?

Second thing that comes to my mind is saving the bookmarks and uninstalling, reinstalling firefox running a ccleaner in between.

There are tons of programs that convert mp3 to wav. Just google them.

Flying under radar.

Can anybody, then, recommend a good 'cleaner', or should I just let TrendMicro do a scan?

The said www.ccleaner.com. It's free and I've been using it for years and have been very happy with it. Works with all Windows versions.

Flying under radar.

I had the same problem long long time ago with Firefox, don't remeber how exacly I resolved this problem but CCleaner might help. I use it permamently and must admit that it's worth.

If it won't help, remove Firefox, and all containing folders (make a backup of yours bookmarks) then use CCleaner and install newest version of Firefox.
