- I use mine for combat only. Pirate hunting and scouting. PVP in Conn. What do you use yours for? Do you even have one?

My apologies. I was half asleep when I typed this up. I thought I put in something about how I thought it should be rebalanced as a hybrid freighter/transport or an ultralight gunship. Does my comments make more sense when put in the context of a complete rebalance?

You could have a look at the server stats which ships are really unused, or create new ones and try them out with the DevTeam.

Most ships that we have do have a certain purpose and people who care for them quite a bit.

The Pelican, for example has been altered quite a bit in the new release. The loadout you see in my Avy is not quite possible any more. It now has an incredible possible forward firepower of (27000 hulldamage per second and 24000 per single salvo) with a slighly decreased rear firepower.

Maybe the regular Armored Transport could be made to be along the lines of the Rheinlandic counterpart (the Ragnar)?

Or remake the 4.84 version only with a freighter shield? :ylove:

The Civvie Transport shield is one of the big advantages of the Pelican. Why would you rather want a weaker shield?

Only a weaker shield if all the other awesome 4.84 stuff was added back: the increased agility, 200 thrust, and tons of power (didn't it have more power and power regen then, too?) to keep shooting those 7 forward guns.
