The only reason I started to like winter

never officially had free because of snow/cold weather when i was in school.

when it was too cold/icy we just decided ourself not to go to school and made a call to all our friends to be sure the entire class wont be there.

not because we were bad bad rebels, our school just had a bunch of total idiots @ lead.

i remember one year, the woule region was just a piece of ice. Not a single car on the streets and just a half dozen people. Impossible to walk over the streets. the few who had to go out were forced to move forward "down on all four"
Even in such days the school told us "YOU have to come to school" lol

Where I live now. It is totally different. When there is a threat of snow, the first thing that happens is..
Everyone goes out and buys up all the bread and milk in existance..I do not know why. Then, if it actually snows, 1 inch or so, almost everything closes down. Such as schools, government offices etc.

Though, on a different note. Where I grew up. it had to be cold and have at least 12" covering the streets before they would consider closing the schools.

Yep only kids could be happy with winter and snow...

Blarghh we still must go to work and be happy because we can't
first to find car under that snow and second, we can't start that car,
so walk to the work and !@#$#$%%^%motherf^#@@!@#!@# to the winter.

All schools in entire country aren't going to work for a week due to a freezing weather. So ye, I finally found the reason to like winter and snow. 8|

Snow! Bah, what is that?! Never had snow during school, not now at University and certainly not at work. It never snows here, only up in the mountains. Right now it's 35+degrees Celsius and it has been like that for weeks.
