The day was usual, just as any other. Stefan was checking through some papers regarding recent Administrator Garrison's departure. He finally found something interesting and took a seat. While checking through those papers, he didn't seem quite impressed. Suddenly, he jumped off his chair.
"What the heck!?"
He started to yell when he realized that Garrison has a cancer.
"Goddamn it. He rather cared about myself then his own life!"
Stefan was surprised. He drank a glass of water, desperately trying to calm down. He couldn't control the rage, he felt that he was guilty for all that. His mind was filled with everything that he had done with Brandon back in the good old days. From meeting with him and first flights, through smuggling Orange into Kusari, to having a serious, long discussions about his connection to The Guardians, as he used to call them. As always, when furious, his eyes were having a purple glow.
After several minutes of fighting against himself, Stefan finally managed to calm down by injecting a small dose of Liquid Cardamine into his veins. It was the only way of him getting back at the normal state, without losing control over his body and mind.
As the time was slowly passing by, Stefan stood up and started to pack. Obviously, he was about to leave Corsica and go to Malta to visit Brandon, as he knew he practically owed him a life. It didn't took him long to pack. He just took basic supplies. Namely: Food, water and the only thing he couldn't live without, a few doses of Liquid Cardamine. Stefan was obviously in a hurry. He was rushing towards his Saber and people could notice that he was furious, so everyone decided to stay away from him. Without any life support systems check, he entered his Saber and left Corsica.
After a few minutes, he was slowly entering the nebula located in Omicron 85. The Corsica and the Razgriz Black Hole were slowly getting smaller and soon, the visibility was totally nullified by the nebula. Stefan's ship was sweeping through the asteroid field when suddenly, he received a vision. The same old voice, the same old light, everything seemed as usual. Stefan blindly followed the voice as always, being totally unaware how easily can even the most usual things slip out of the control, as his ship slowly changed the course and went into unknown.
Kate was concentrated, her ship in the middle of nowhere in the Omicron Kappa system. It was the first link with another mind she had been able to establish since the "incident". Who was it? Or rather, what was it? A human? A nomad? Something else? Only time could tell.
For a second she even considered terminating the link, but the bonds were strong, uncommon even. Did she really had to fear what the unknown wished to give her?
"Unite... Come to me..." She repeated to the entity.
Stefan was totally confused, as a different voice came into his mind, making a total mess. He wasn't sure which voice to follow anymore. Everything changed. He felt something special in that new voice and decided to follow it and see who or what was hiding behind it. The time was passing as Stefan's ship slowly flew through Omicrons. As usually, he had to control his ship with his mind, as attempting to move his body would only cause serious consequences. Stefan had no idea where he was going, his only goal was to find that voice at all costs.
Suddenly, he felt a radiation, but as it was harmless to him, Stefan just ignored it, continuing to an, to him, unknown destination. As he was getting closer to a voice, the vision started to fade. After a few minutes, Stefan found himself in the middle of nowhere. He looked around his cockpit and saw two familiar planets, orbiting a red dwarf. He realized that he was in Omicron Kappa.
"What the..."
He mumbled. When he took a better look in front of himself, he spotted an unknown ship, standing idle in front of him. Stefan immediately turned on his communication systems and tried to communicate with it.
"So, it was you... Now if I only knew who you are."
