The Orinoco finally got to see some action today. I got a call about the Kalepa being under fire and scramble right away. The bogeys callsign was Inside.The.Box. A Behemoth transport with minimal armor. The Kalepa was showing off some slick moves when I got there and laying down the hurt on the pirate. Once I got there we made short work of him.
Ran security for the Eternal.Light recently. We supplied the Obsidian Zoners' base in Omicron Zeta with Robotics. One of their security craft then lead us to their newest base in Zeta, Murilo Mining Facility. This base appeared to have been constructed very recently. Not that it is my job, but perhaps they are in need of assistance in getting the materials required for these bases?

Hello, gentlemen. Security Pilot David Starr reporting in.
Today I witnessed a little incident near Freeport Nine. Three Zoner Alliance ships were having an argument over the open radio frequency with three other ships: a Hessian bomber, a Scorians| tagged ship and another freelancer. The ZA claimed those ships took part on an assault that destructed their Sigma Freeport base. For our intelligence purposes, I asked him if he had the comm logs or guncams to prove that. In response they sent this communication.
After that the argument quickly escalated to a fight, but both sides respected my requests to not engage each other inside the Non-Fire Zone. The interesting aspect of it being that, even if I was only a solo Broadsword and could do nothing against six heavy armed ships, they respected the OSI name and the Freeport rules.
Soon Mr. Voncloud arrived in the Roc bomber callsign OSI-Green-2. That was very good, 'cause at that point the ZA had already received reinforcements, and shortly after his arrival the Consensus and the Solar Runners crashed the party.
After another long argument, everybody decided to go to Omicron 74, where the AI and Solar Runners engaged the ZA near their Theta jumphole base. They stood clear of the freeport, so I went back to Nine and docked, as I was already bingo fuel.

I've done a couple lone patrols, both from Canaria to 74 and back. One in day 10 and the other day 13 of this month. Both with no strange contacts in route, and both with curious contacts when I got back to O-49.
On the 10th, as I got back from the ride I encountered a SCRA Thanatos cruiser, the C.P.W. Aurora, which was questioning a freelancer IDed Stiletto fighter. The Coalition captain thought that the poor scared freelancer was a bretonian spy (?!?), but the pilot said he was just going to Omega 50 so he could exchange his old fighter for a brand new Virage, that he had already negotiated with the Boa Vista Station vendor. So he insisted to follow the guy to Boa Vista to see if he was telling the truth. At least with that the cruiser leaved 49. Turns out it was all true, as later that day the same pilot in his new ship passed by Gran Canaria to buy supplies.
On the 13th, again uneventful patrol until I got back to 49. As I approached Gran Canaria I spotted a zoner carrier in orbit. It was just there in stationary orbit, no movement at all... When I hailed it in the open frequency it did not answer, but instead proceeded to dock. It quickly filled its cargo bay with deuterium, and undocked and left for Omega 47. Very strange indeed.
As it was leaving, was not hostile, and I was bingo fuel already, I proceeded to land and ended the patrol.
