[font=Times New Roman]It was I whom you spoke with aboard the Golden Druid while in Dublin a few days ago. From my staff I am led to understand that you also spoke with Cynthia Morgan and Carrie Duncan aboard their ships while they were in New London and Leeds respectively. It was curious that you contacted the Mollys before your engagement with the Bretonian forces in Dublin. It is our home and near and dear to us, but as you'd stated a neutral stance, we remained out of the action and deployed defensively.

[font=Times New Roman]This was in no small part due to past business with your civilian peoples. Your corporations and mining companies, as well as your version of what we call the Junkers have done business with us for quite some time. Our only negative experience until recently has been from a group of your countrymen called the LaBrise. Some of my kinsmen have even ventured as far as your Burgundy in the past year or so, delivering ore to your Allesia station. It's been mutually beneficial in my view, unlike our relations with the Kusari during their war with Bretonia.

[font=Times New Roman]This is not the time for a history lesson of course; data files can be sent for your staff to review and provide relevant points at a later date. My point in observing this is that for two years we have had good relations with your civilian population. To our view, your dislike of Bretonia and war against them is not far from our own views and I think we could possibly find cooperation if not an alliance at some future date.

[font=Times New Roman]If you would be interested in discussing this further, please let me know. I will forward secure communications codes for our Skyp3 protocols so that we might discuss matters privately, or perhaps meet at one of your nation's bases in Orkney. As our temporary non-aggression agreement worked well on this Friday past; until this other DeFrance, Aurelia I'm told, ordered your forces to fire upon us. As a token of hopes for future good will, I have ordered that Molly ships are not to fire upon Gallic Naval vessels unless fired upon.

[font=Times New Roman]It is my belief that we can offer both tactical staging and support on one end, and profitable ore shipments on the other should we manage a more permanent agreement. To that effect, I wish you well and look forward to your reply.
