My brother is coming back from Scotland and he's gonna crash at my place for some time.
Now if i'm able to talk him into Freelancer again, there comes the question...
How are we able to play together while not being accused for Multiboxing since i'm going to share my one and only internet connection.
Eventually we are going to pirate, catch pirates, trade etc. etc.
I'm also willing to share my characters with him until he gains enough cash or his own ship to keep on his own.
Now how am i able to prevent possible sanctions?
Now before you all go: Another excuse to multibox, then certainly No! I simply have no motive to do that...i have cash and everything i need already.
Also i could Picture of me and my brother playing freelancer together in the same room could solve the problem?
Its ok to have family/friends playing on the same connection. It's not ok to have one player operating two or more accounts at the same time. Unless you are doing momentary equipment transfers between accounts.
I go around my friend's place at times and we both play on the same connection, I believe that as long it's obvious there's a person behind each ship, then there's no problem, as I've not had any issues yet.
To be honest I doubt anyone would think your on the same IP. I could probably sign in on 2 of my accounts and just park both ships around Manhatten, so long as I moved them occasionally and spoke every so often on them I doubt anyone would notice. So obviously 2 players both moving around aren't probably going to get people moaning about you "multiboxing".
The only people who'd probably notice are the admins and I'm sure they're not dumb enough to just hit ban without checking it out, at which point they'll obviously notice your not the same person.
multiboxing is easy to spot, as is two computers on at the same time; people behave differently, and unless you can type on two keyboards at the same time, anyone trying to multibox will get the banhammer of magnificent justice.
