Well I am like pretty set on getting it, some guys I talked to love the thing but one or two don't like it, what do you guys think of the game, and what classes have you been playing?
I haven't picked it up yet 'cause I had no way to play.
Then I heard it is coming to PC.
Then my head exploded.
On that chronological order.
Tbqh, from all the videos and gameplay I've seen, it's a mercilessly kick ass game - though if you don't like losing you're going to start crying really fast.
Good news, last night I randomly stumbled across an old Best Buy giftcard for 25 bucks that I got for Christmas or something, love random finds like that... cuts the price of the game in half.
Anyways yeah this game is supposed to be really really hard, I know that for sure.
I was considering starting my first playthrough as a Knight, because I heard they were pretty good in terms of HP and combat prowess, but I hesitate to do so, as I rarely play the tank in RPs, usually opting for rogues or spell casters. I have been looking the thief, wanderer and pyromancer... The wanderer supposedly has some magic potential mixed in with his high speed, and the thief is all about high speed and crits. Pyromancer is just like fireballs all around which should be fun.
What is going to be weird though is that from what I know so far your magic pool is limited, for instance you only get 30 fireballs before you need to stop at a bonfire or something. Most things I have played have had you with very slowly recharging magic (save for my atronach mage in my TES games) so I guess I will have to be more careful with spells.
Still have not gotten the game yet, but I will after I leave the university today.
Got the game, been playing it as a Knight so far but I have not really been liking their lack of speed, however their armor is a bit too good to really pass up. Currently running around, working my way up to kill the Taurus Demon who has killed me several times...
I also made a Wanderer, which I like because of their speed... not sure which I will get farther with. Both characters have a lot of pros and cons, but I guess I just need more practice. I also need to figure out where to get magic.
And yes, I have died, I have died many times, one time disappointingly I had 7000 souls that I lost :/
(Repeated attempts at trying to kill the Taurus Demon caused the souls from the dead on the way there to stack up over time... then I died en route)
