It's really annoying flying as GMG through Kusari, once Samura NPC's or stations shoot you everything turns red. It counts as hostile act (from the player) to be shot by samura, so KNF and so on also want to pew pew you.. it would be nice if the ID wouldn't turn Samura completly red, just enough not to dock but also not to get shot by NPC's..

It's annoying for both parties...
It must go both ways.
Interesting. I doubt that its a glitch.
Still quite stupid, two corporations 'at war' with eachother, who happen to reside in/near the same house.

That, sir, was an ignorant comment that was made without the slightest bit of research. Although I agree that things have quieted down between GMG and our neighbours that doesn't mean it's completely over. Also, don't infer that GMG is a Kusari Corp. It's not. Nor has it been for almost 600 yrs.
It's a remnant from the Kurile crisis that is over/never happened. (Depending on which dev you ask)
It definitely needs to get removed as the expected activity boost for the GMG didn't really kick in, nor do any open hostilities happen at this point, or ever happened apart from some claims. We don't like each other. We can, in theory, pirate each other. But that's about it. Having a -0.59 ninja would be nice to prevent docking and certain otherwise awkward trade runs like in .85.
A full hostile rep-ninja just causes the aforementioned unnecessary issues with the NPCs even to an extend where it's possible you can't even dock at planets your faction has major operations on.
While this can be fixed with maxing out your KSP/KNF/Kishiro reputations, most indies and new players notice that after having bought the ID and ship where it's already pretty hard to fix rep on your own.
Even though usually someone is willing to do some missions for you it causes unpleasant events that could easily be avoided.
Let's admit it, it was a brain fart.
Let's get rid of it.
