While your are at it can you post Taidan HF hitbox (and not the model) please.... I have some pictures around (in the general discussion thread) that show how it gets hit far away from the actuall model...

I will search for them...

ok...well..there is one general mistake in opinion....

each ship must have as closest looking hit box as possible...balancing ships with larger hit boxes is totally wrong...

crow should get new hit box...then it should be tested in first beta...after that if shows to be too good for its ship class it will be balanced..

that is only way this should go...every other way is wrong and has no sense what so ever...

Exactly... but I haven't really notice anyone saying something different...

but yes ships should have hitboxes that fit as close as possible... then they can be balanced by what you actually can see. Oh and it goes both ways....

Well im piloting a Crow for a while now and it did feel quite strange having to rely on thrusters rather than strafes for evading...Crow is getting hit all over the place. I had better evades with Camara, so i would certainly like to see hitbox reduction for a Crow

ahh, memories - the crow was the FIRST custom ship i ever bourght in disco when i started. - i remember trading cash for it with my rhino. - and then got this ship. - compared to what i knew from vanilla 1.0 - the ship looked awesome. countless guns, hull like the best ship i knew from vanilla ( hammerhead ).

so i got the crow, some cheesy guns and headed to gamma to do the best money making thing i knew about - that is take missions ( didn t know about transports at that time much, so i thought that 400k missions was unbeatable )

ahh, i got about so far as to o-41, where i was ambushed by hessians. - at that time, the disco effect got me, that is NPCs with ships that repair itself and a lot more aggressiveness than 1.0:). got wasted and switched back to a little freighter again after that.. - thats my experience with the crow. - something like a 10 minutes experience.

i think the only other time i stumbled into a crow was when i was flying my hammerhead and went against a greyhound and a crow ( indi hackers in cali ) - took out the crow ( and was so surprised about myself that i got taken out by the greyhound ) - and yes, i remember that i was surprised that i did actually hit so much, - while i am gruesome against other ships. ( at least i got taken out by an enemy that time, and not like so many other times, by my own nuke mines )

The Crow sounds like it was good before the nerf. Apart from that Hitbox problem once again.

That really, REALLY needs fixing.

I fly the crow alot and it has its shortcomings, but it also makes up for em, but the hit box is god awful, i would like to see it changed as well. I get pounded in that thing

You dont have to change anything to the ship, dont resize it or nothin, just make the blasted hitbox fit. And while it does have 9k powerplant it also has 7 guns (1 foward facin turret) and that amount of guns being continually fired drains the power like noones buisness even usein krackin 1's w/ debbies, but thats not a problem for me personally, just the absurd hitbox is.

I personally think the ship is good even with its shortcomings in exchange for more agility. Ive beaten many pilots who laughed at my crow ^^

It's actually your choice if you are going to use those slots or not. The fact is, it's a big +, not a -.
You can mount missiles or debilitators + weapon groups = just fine.
It's like Outcasts saying that Sabre is bad because it can't shoot 7 Krakens for 30 seconds.
Of course it can't, but you have a choice what to mount. And that's something.

oh i know, but mounting even 2 class nines kills your power. But its more challenging that way imo, i use natterturns and debbies with weap groups as you said, and it does indeed work fine for me
