I am looking for a server to play on for a little while, and am thinking about joining Disco with a few members of my clan. NiMa, unfortunately, was closed down due to an extended period of down-time while the mod was being built and many people migrated to such places as EvE and other Freelancer mods.
Anyway, I'm a very experienced player, owning a nice reputation back on NiMa for being the best PvPer at the time of my leaving and the Light fighter Champion. Enough of the gloating, I'm here to say 'Hello' and ask if anyone is wanting to be of service for another rarity that is the Freelancer playing spirit.
I will admit that i will not be on much, however i will make my presence known after reading the rules and finding the disk to reinstall FL as discovery version.
If anyone here was from NiMa before hand, you may recognise me from either [Hive] or =SoW= (which is my current clan), and i will be looking for a faction to join as well. Of course, My nature is of a pirate, and that is what i do best at.
PvP isn't the focus here, RP is. We couldn't care less how well you fly, so long as you can talk your way out of a battle by blathering the enemy to death about Aunt Bertha's herring pies. Seriously. PvP isn't a bad thing, it's just not as, erm, RP-ish as we like here.
That aside, welcome to the fold, and I'd recommend you don't try to import a YANF. Just join as regular people, and then just fiddle around until you find where you fit in. Good luck, and no hard feelings!
