Apex von Slackenwolf was born in the Brawnschweig system, on the Meckenburg station. His father was in the Rhienland military, stationed aboard the battleship Moselle. His mother was a apart time political activist and as a child he remembered many heated arguments between his parents on the state of Rheinland space.
With such diersity in his upbringing, upon age Apex chose to be a freelancer and thus traveled the systems, with quite good success.Yet he felt an emptiness inside, as though his life had but little purpose but to make his own ends meet.Haveing been close to his mother, her influence and his own lifes experience's prompted him to make a bold move, much to his fathers dismay. Apex joined the Bundschuh movement and spent his fortune buying a pieced together Rhienland light destroyer, to take the fight to the heart of Rheinlands disease, thier corrupt corporations and tyranic military forces. Thus for several years he became "The Hand of Death" to the Rheinland forces he opposssed along with his allies the Red Hessians.
Though in his travels Apex had many close calls and recieved much harrassemt from the Liberty forces, whom only deemed his actions as piracy and could not understand the true nature of political resistance. The seed of hatred was planted and grew to the porportions in which he shared with the Rhienland forces he so much resented. As he traveled abroad he begain to befriend the Outcasts and for some time felt as if he had found a secound home. But as time edged on he realised the corruption of what Caradime was haveing on all the systems that came in contact with it and the true nature of selfishness they believed in. After witnessing this he began to build his own personal momentum towards opposing them and all that ally with them, includeing his own brethren Bundscuh, whoms close association with the Red Hessian's troubled him. He fought for them to see that they didnt need thier alliance and in doing so started to seperate himself from within, which finally drove him to the far reaches of the galaxy, so that he may once again find himself and a purpose to his life.
In his travels thru the Omicron systems once again as a freelancer, his way of thinking evolved. A new enemy presented itself, one that most had long been thought gone, but seemed to be thriving and getting stronger, the Nomads, whom once threatened all humankind. As his travels continued he came across the Order and thier allies the Corsairs, whom of which stood for many of the things that he himself was starting to. Haveing become fairly wealthy in his travels and entering the peek of his life, he chose to finally make a stand. He quickly departed his long time Rhienland vessel and purchased a ship that would make a statement for what he believed in. A ship built from the labor of both the Corsairs and the Order a ship that undeniably stated his stand. So thus he purchased the Huntress class destroyer, which he christened "The Hammer of Justice".
Afterwhich he quickly went to Ominicron Minor and professed his alliance to the Order. The Order quickly sent him to Omnicron Gamma to prove his worth and to assist thier allies the Corsairs. To this day from that moment he continues to do as much, as his tale and his story yet continues on....
