Cant connect!

im new on this sever but a noob on FL newayz...i cant connect 2 da global server...cozz its dead...so how do i connect?????
i heard sumthing abt useing the ip adress.......could some1 plzzzzzzz tell me how????

Quick Connect Shortcut properties:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -s82.113.48.5:2302

Make a shortcut like in example above, and all will be fine.

ok...i tried but it didnt work....what do u put as ur shortcut name?(s82.133.....) i used that......n the shorcut should be in EXE folder ..right??

Youll have trouble connecting if your'e using Vista; ready the excellent tutorial by DBoy on how to connect.

The server does go down occasionally as well, so patience..
