Well, I'm not going to write a tutorial on how to do the switch, mostly because I haven't done it myself.
What I will say is, you can probably get an ISO of Win 7 from.... somewhere, but you will have to find it yourself, as that sort of thing is frowned on here.
Your best bet is to go and purchase a legal copy of Win 7, ask your father to back up any important documents/things that are on the computer and go from there.
The easiest way to install a new OS is to make sure you have *ALL* of the drivers for the computer, sound card, video card, printer drivers and so on.
Then just put the Win 7 disc in the drive and follow the instructions.
Note, I'm not in game often enough to need money, so don't worry about it.
