After Carl Bergmann has given the bottles with the Corsair rum to the barkeeper, he and Luci look to the lounge, where Dr. Cornelius and Gypsie Scripto are sitting. The Doc seems to explain something to Gypsie while the reporter looks like a stoned guru of the erisian field.
"Look to Gypsie,", Carl says and Luci begins to smile. She says: " Doc is confusing the most humans, isn`t he?"
"Indeed, this he can, he is the only one i know, who is able to confuse Keepers, so it should be an easy thing to him to do the same with humans..."
"And damn, Carl: do You see?" Luci points to Eric Stone, who is standing at the bar, "Eric takes a drink of the black rum we got from this good looking Corsair."
Carl looks to Eric, then he says: "I am really curious, how he will become after this. I never did expect Eric as the one, who would drink this..."

From the lounge now Dr. Cornelius voice is to hear: "Oh Gypsie, this is my face, really. Did You never see a Primus man? Never visited our home world?"
Gypsie answeres: "A world, where only Mon... hairy humanoids live? Can´t remember this... Is there any antidot?"
Dr. Cornelius again shows his teeth by a big laughter, then he answers: "An antidot for seeing me? Look to Eric, his drink can help in any situations. It´s not an antidot but i used to drink this, when i was a young guy. If You would take a glas of this, You will become ...different... But...to be serious: take a bath and go to sleep before something strange will happen. What kind of drug are You using?" He looks from Gypsie to Eric and then to his capt´n and the pilot, Seems, Carl and Luci are here. If You don´t mind i would ask them to join us before Eric is ...changing...

[Gypsie]

Gyp looks anxiously to the drink Eric Stone holds in his hand. He stands up and walks hastly towards him. The man looks at the junkie reporter surprised, and next thing he knows is young Gyp struggling and finally managing to take the glass from his hand and drinking it in one single sip.

Sorry for that mate, but my head was killing me! He smiles in an exaggerated fashion and then switches to a repulsed expresion because of the drink burning his throat. Aaahrghh! Powerful! But much better... Would you please join the ape... I mean Doctor and I over that table? He then looks at Carl and Luci. You two too, if you will make us the honour!

Still shocked.. Eric watch towards young Gyp and smiles.. Some thoughts are crossing his minds. words like lust, desire and temptation.. Some things wich the young Gyp still needs to learn.. Just while Eric wants to ask the bartender for another drink he notice that he is gone.. Then a waitress passes him. When he sees her face he start to blush..

Not hearing what Gyp is telling in the meantime he looks towards the waitress.. slightly intoxicated he asks "Uhh.. can you please pour me a new glas of that black rum? Don't like to drink from the same glass as this young fella. Don't want to know where his lips have been.. And even just stole my glass." The waitress smiles looks towards Gyp "So you are a rude little fella? Haven't your mother learnt you to be nice to others? Treat them like you want to be treated?" While she is telling Gyp gets more and more a look of some sad puppy eyed face. (// something like this) I'm sorry!! Eric starts laughing.. "Its good my friend. But if you don't mind i like to relax a littlebit. Have had a tough week. Might join you fella's later on." and he gives Gyp a friendly shoulder. While Gyp walks back towards the table he sees Eric talking to the waitress.

"Would you please join the ape... I mean Doctor and I over that table?"
This is all Dr. Cornelius need to hear! A drug abusing clunky human calls him, HIM an ape? What looks like a big smile becomes more a bigger snarling. Dr. Cornelius heads to Gypsie, bows down to the much smaller one and with a really smoothy and flattering voice he asks: "I really wasn´t able to understand you, Gypsie, can you do me the favor?"

Carl Bergmann in this situation acts as the capt´n of his crew again,, like a hero he steps toward the two men, the bigger one is a, let´s say a damn hairy colossus: two and a half meters height and min 250 pound, not the one You should look out for a nice little fight in a club. And as friendly and peaceful Dr. Cornelius may be, but in these things he can act a bit, ... humorless...
Luci, a small, skinny beast with two long, black braids, looking like anything between an angel and a really mean devil in her old Rheinland pilot uniform, she only laughs and makes a step into the round. For a long second she faces the other woman, that entered the room, then she asks into the round: "Wow, i am impressed, it´s time to place the bets, people. I will bet 2000 sc on Dr. Cornelius."
"Gentlemen!" Carl says, " please Dr. Cornelius, please Mr. Scripto,"
Luci smiles and says: "this will be a nice experience for Gypsie, i am sure!" With a strange view she looks to the other woman: "what do you think? Is this discussion entering a higher level now?"

[Gypsie]

As Cornelius approaches in an undfriendly fashion Gypsie hallucinates that the doctor is getting larger and lager, and darker and dangerous, and horrifying and deadly, and soon he does not stand it and drops to the floor, hugging his knees tightly to his chest in a fetal position, screaming.

No! No! No! Please I yield! What did I do? It wasn't me, I am no threat! I DID NOT STEAL THE GOLDEN APPLES!!!

The waitress sees Gypsie lying on the floor. She walks towards him.. "I think you have enough for now young man. The effects do wear of in a couple of minutes." not understanding what the waitress is telling Gypsie. he screams again..

No! No! No! It wasn't me! I DID NOT STEAL THE GOLDEN APPLES!!!

Eric comes closer and helps the waitress putting Gypsie on the chair again. While Gypsie keeps yelling.. The whole room looks towards him yelling. As a center of attention. Dr. Cornelius laughs all of a sudden. The people look strange at him seeing an ape wich in a moment of panic laughs.. When gypsie came to his common sense. He looks the waitress straight in the eyes and shouts again..
ERIS HAS CAUGHT ME! I DIED!! WHAT HAPPENED?

Dr. Cornelius gives Gypsie a slap in the face. Gypsie freezes from sudden fear.
"Gypsie snap out of it!. You don't need to fear me." after these words Gypsie gets aware what happened. "My looks may differ from others. But doesn't make me some angry being. I don't want to harm you! I have some serious things to talk about."

Eric overheard some of the talkings a littlebit earlier. And decides to hop in. "I have to apologize too for this. As i was asked to join too on the conversation. Lets go to the table where you fella's where sitting. And talk!"

they all go to the table. Gypsie looks to the waitress before sitting down and starts to blush..

Cornelius' slap in Gyp's face was exactly what the young fella needed to recover. He suddenly understands what happened and feels sorry for his rudeness. He looks at Dr. Cornelius and says:

No! I beg you pardon me, I am not usually like this. That crap really had quite de effect on me... Strong crap indeed. He smiles at the doctor and offers his fist for a friendly knock. Are we cool my big friend?

Just before Dr.Cornelius wants to sit down he hears some music in the background. It inspires him, then suddenly..


"So that was it.. Hope you guys enjoyed the show? We just LOVE that kind of music. But lets talk." Gypsie and Eric are overwhelmed with the performance wich they just had seen. "That came unexpected." and both faces turns towards Dr. Cornelius and his crew when he sits down.
