Yes, missions are bugged, but the fact is that Junkers are low lifes in the game, and everyone knows it.
All that cardi going to Junker bases and the slaves leaving then are well known, it's no secret.
The game makes BH's an individual, lawful force and Junkers an individual, unlawful one. Personally I don't agree that BH's should be lawful, but that's how it is.
I don't see how it's oorp for BH's to be unfriendly to Junkers.

It isn't ooRP for them to be unfriendly- they have reason for that, the Junkers often harbor bountied targets. Then again, its almost impossible to pin something illegal on an individual Junker, and unless that Junker angers the Bounty Hunter, steals a ship, or has a bounty, there really is no reason for them to be more than unfriendly. Sort of a "get out of here, jerk" attitude as opposed to a "DIE!!!" attitude, which most BHG seem to have adopted unfortunately.
A fellow asked me just yesterday what GB a Junkers could fly.... and I'm like, "er possibly a Rogue GB, but don't quote me on that."
I don't think its beyond probability for a Junker to have a GB, I mean it's just a big fat slow fighter.
The salvage angle is a good one. OTOH I thought of Rogues since they and Junkers do a lot of business together, and just maybe a Junker could wheedle one of their GB's somehow. (Won in a poker game?)

It looks the part, and isn't outside of reason. However, any Junker flying a Rogue Gunboat should not be expecting kind treatment from Corsairs. Not necessarily outright hostility, but he shouldn't mount Corsair turrets and the like (even if they are sold on Buffalo).

Why? He flies what was available, and since there is no junker GB a rogue GB is perfectly OK, in fact any GB is.

Space is a hard place. Junkers are the lowest of the low with no one to protect them.
If only they had some cap ships to protect them against the BH's they pissed off

We do a great deal of business with a virtually every criminal, quasi-legal and legal organization under the various suns, save for Hogosha and every house corporation. The former being our rivals, which we have kept under control outside of Kusari space, and struggle against to establish a solid presence within Kusari. The latter, well, it might take a degree in both political and economic philosophy to understand precisely why the Junkers are diametrically opposed to the corporate state.
That said, son, either you're a Junker, or you're nobody, and nothing you have in your possession is safe. Not your cargo, not your hardware, not your body, and most definitely not your vehicle. If a group of Junkers have the wherewithal to pull off a heist of any kind, and get away with it, you'd best believe it's going to happen. No scam, no heist is beyond us, or below our sensibilities. As the man said, we're the lowest of the low, save for the Xenos, of course, and if it benefits us, that's our game. Whether it be scratching a living off of wrecks and debris fields, running cargo for banned outlaws (thanks for the RP, J.S.!), trading legal commodities, smuggling contraband, demanding a percentage or forcing you to spill your cargo bay, or commandeering your boat. If you give us the opportunity, and it profits us, then you'd best believe that we'll be on your ass.
As an aside, well.. No, this is something, as usual, better handled in game, provided I ever meet any of those pretentious upstarts claiming to be Junkers.
Well i say if a Junker want's a bigger ship. Get the pirate cruiser sold in O-15 on a junker base.
I have been Junker guard now for over a year, and it is the only ship other then a colector, that i have not been given greif for using. Hell it make sense. We salvage, and repair them from our own space, and then sell them to just about anyone.
Hey, some of us like grief, and ain't nobody here interested in a cruiser. Well, not until maybe my private ideological war with the Congressionals (Yes, the Junker Congress) ramps up. Might be interested in the acquisition of more firepower.:tease:
