For snubs: Mouse flight, arrow keys for strafe. CD, regens, CM and mines all bound to various mouse buttons (got 11). Weapon group 2 bound to middle mouse (typically assigned to either half the main weapons, or a special heavy such as a minirazor).
For large ships: Numeric pad for turretsteering, using the num7/num9 for roll, num4/num6/num2/num8 for strafe, num5 for thruster on continuously (useful when you get CDspammed in a transport, just keep thruster on permanent burn and have em waste ammo - a Cheetah thruster can run on full burn for almost a minute). Ins/Del/Home/End/Pup/Pdwn for weapon group selections.
Cap configuration's probably not the most optimal, but I'm no pro anyway.
Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
From a time when all seems lost, from a dead man to a world, without restraint, unafraid and free.
Mostly retired Discovery member. May still visit from time to time.
For fighters I made minimal changes in control, just puted Q,E as vertical strafe, for cap TS Im using standart arrows, to which i get used from playing race games while being kid, and num-keys for weapons'groupe, "del/0" afterburn, "/"-CM (doesn't matter which button you rpess, it can fail every time) speed control- MW. May be look rediculouse and weird, but rly usefull for me.
