Removing the Graphics and re-installing the integrated one

I have an nVidia Geforce4 MX 440 with AGP8x.

It has 64 MB total memory.( Weak, yes I know. )

I would like to remove it and re-install the integrated ones.
I tried this before, and I did it, but it seems I can't remember how to do it ( step by step )

Please explain me the removing step by step and I'll be happy.

Download your integrated graphics drivers from your motherboard manufacturer's website. (Or for updated ones, if you have Intel Integrated Graphics, you can sometimes get them from Intel's Drivers and Support section on their website.)

Then, after those are saved, uninstall your graphics drivers from Device Manager.

(Assuming you have XP. Right click on my computer, properties, device manager.)

Then shut off your computer and remove your card, your computer should install plug and play basic drivers for your integrated graphics chip when you turn it back on. Once that's done you'll likely notice that your computer will be running at a very low resolution, just install your graphics drivers that you have downloaded and restart. Should be good to go.

EDIT: Chances are, without more information, I can take a wild guess that your integrated graphics will perform worse than your old card. Considering whether or not your motherboard is a certain age.

Okay, I found the drivers for my graphics.

Its a SiS 630/730 Graphic Card Driver. ( I knew it was a SiS Graphics before )


This is what I actually did:

I disabled and uninstalled my nVidia, then I shutted down my PC , removed the graphics, and turned on my PC again.

As you said, I have noticed the lower resolution.Then I went to: Start > Search > SiS.

I found some drivers ( .zip file ) and extracted them to My Documents.
I double-clicked on the Setup Launcher, but it gives me an error: "Please confirm that your device is installed properly.And you are advised to reboot your computer before installing the VGA Driver ".

Please tell me what to do next.

When you go into Device Manager, do you see an exclamation point (!) in yellow on the graphics driver? Try, not running the setup, but manually installing the driver from the .zip yo extracted. Choose the driver by file path and point it to your extracted folder.

If that still doesn't work, find me the motherboard model number. You can use CPUID to find it.And I can find the exact appropriate driver from your motherboard manufacturer, if they are still up.

What i did is that i just looked @ my motherboard number and found the correct drivers.
