The Ikaruga has been moored for a number of weeks, undergoing various retrofits and repairs, but we have still been keeping an eye on current events in the system. With a heavy heart, I must announce that the Ikaruga is taking its leave from the Alliance. This turmoil with the Corsairs is proving to make the crew and I worried. We would prefer not to be involved in any potential conflict. This hardline stance the Alliance is taking is in stark contrast to what I believe is the Zoner way. As Zoners, we should be balancing our relations, not forcing them.
As such, the Ikaruga will be seeking out new systems far and away.
* he glances down, taps some buttons on his console and pulls a lever. The lights behind him on deck begin pulsing a cool blue. *

This does not mean the Ikaruga or her crew have any ill wishes for the Alliance and we hope this conflict is resolved peacefully. We wish the Alliance luck in its resolution of the dispute with the Corsair Nation.
There is one final matter, a Kujira type transport that was on loan to the Ikaruga. This was left at Sanctuary. Seek me on private comms for access to the hangar.
