It seems there is now a program called GeForce Experience, that looks at what games you have, and checks what settings you're playing them on, and compares it to its community(?) optimized settings. If there is a setting that can be altered to make the experience better/smoother, it'll optimize it with a click of a button.

I just tried it out and it seems to be doing its job rather nicely, and it shows me exactly what its changing, and in a handy GUI format.

Here is a link for anyone who hasn't got it:

If you use more than one HDD, you'll need to tell the preferences to include that HDD, its scannin C: by default.

Not every game ever is supported at the moment, here is a list of what is.

I had that program, I installed it today to my friend's laptop what is very old... (Windows Vista) it had too old graphics card and windows freeze to loading screen, I fixed problem using original drivers published on 2007... (laptop runs Windows 7 with Vista drivers) so my experience with that app is not so good.

I'm using it just because it tells me when new drivers are out. I find the optimised settings to generally underestimate the ability of my PC.

Nice little program though.
