Good day, Admiral Golanski of The Order here.

Service provided by you, including deployment of Arbiter-class NTFB Belisarius have proved to be very beneficial to The Order over the time. However, your personnel have mentioned severe lack of equipment including dangerous shortage of bomber craft assets. As you operate like our ally and almost like The Order fleet asset, I need to know what is your current status as of now.

Golanski out.

****INCOMING TRANSMISSION****

PRIORITY: High
ENCRYPTION: High
DESTINATION: Michal Golanski, Order Primary Fleet
SOURCE: Executive Commander Robert Crompton, NTBS Belisarius
SUBJECT: Status

Good day Admiral,

The Belisarius suffered minimal to no damage during its brief combat operation in Omicron-74. However, the majority of our fleet assets are currently deemed unfit for active duty and remain either mothballed until spare parts can be allocated or broken down at a later point, pending review. Currently the gunboats Hinton, Refute and more recently the transport Grall have been refitted for active duty. Other ships including Broadsword bomber wings remain grounded.

On top of that, the recent hostilities in Omicron-74 as well as major increases in Nomad forces throughout the region have lead us to reconsider our current status. The threat to our operations and the costs of operating in the Nomad Worlds is a concern as it appears likely to interfere with our future goals. That said, we will be remaining for the time being as we have business in the Omicrons and we will need more data before taking action.

Executive Commander Robert Crompton out.

Golanski here.

I assume your gunboats are Conference class. In such case, Order can provide you with either original parts of compatible components we have at the stock. This is of course should your gunboats suffer from lack of materials needed to put them into combat shape again.

As for Nomads threatening your operations, this is ussual daily routine here. If I may ask, what are your future plans? Do you intend to leave Omicron space? Your flagship is useful aid to our mainstay fleet within Nomad infested worlds.

Golanski out.

SUBJECT: Assistance

Admiral,

Your offer of spare parts is appreciated. The Hinton is the only Conference in the Neo-Terran fleet and while we've been able to patch it up enough since it was critically damaged on entering Omicron-74 recently, it could probably use a few more repairs. On the other hand, our other gunboat, the Refute was wrecked by a Nomad task force two days in Omicron Delta. It's an antique Kusari Explorer, probably a model from around the 750s or late 600s with outdated systems and no match for Nomad technology. Right now it's more or less a husk with no power or atmosphere for that matter and repairing it will be much more difficult than a simple patch-up.

Our lack of permanent infrastructure makes the Nomad threat all the more risky to what ships we do have. Our goal of building a sleeper ship and a new home for humanity remains the same, but that requires colonists and taking on this task in the shadow of a race bent on genocide will only make that tougher. All of us in High Command are considering relocating to a location in the Border Worlds or Independent systems where we can move our focus from survival to rebuilding. Other business in the Omicrons means the Front will not be moving yet and when is unclear, it could be up to a week or beyond that.

However, that is no reason to cease assistance. The Nomad threat is everywhere in Sirius, not to mention dormant infestees and collaborators. The Front can offer alternate forms of assistance besides the Belisarius, such as our transport wing. Meskhenet station's commodity logistics seem rather sparse for this but I believe that with permission for our transports to enter Omicron Mu we could directly provide supplies to the Order, as well as relay information of threats in other parts of the sector.

Executive Commander Robert Crompton out.
