Good day, sirs.
At first i would to give a description - it's my first work in gmax (and first generally in moddeling), so i cant add textures and other stuff to that ship. I already tried, but there were many mistakes.

Bottom/Right/Back

Quote:Which stats i would to see at this ship:
1 Class 9 Gun
4 Class 10 Guns
1 Cruise Disruptor OR Fighter Torpedo
1 Cruise Disruptor
1 Countermeasure Dropper
1 Mine Dropper
Hull strength - 14,900
Max. shield class - 10
Cargo space - 70 units
Nanobots/Batteries 76/76
Max. impulse speed - 80 m/s
Max. thrust speed - 199 m/s
Power output - 12,900 u
Power recharge - 1,250 u/s
I hope you like it:)
//and sorry for my english
My characters:
- Vespucci~Cpt.Alan.Smith - Spatial, deep space explorer (all systems in Nav map)
- Dilan.Smith - Mafic, SH miner
- OCV-Se-Osiris - Order Battleship Osiris
- Aaron.Blake - Bretonian train
- Royal.Liner-'Bristol' - warehouse of codenamed weapons and other rarity
Except for the back-view (3rd picture from the bottom), I really like it. But if it's civilian, less "spikes" might be better. Round off some of the corners, maybe?
1. Doesn't look freelancerish
2. Don't need another Civi ship
3. Looks too much like another ship-enter name here-
4. I just don't like the look, don't know why, just don't
5. Wings look like they would fall off if they were...
6. Looks too cool to be Civi, must be given to faction with select clientele
7. Too late for 4.86, ship submissions are already done
8. Looks like a Nyx and a Zoner made love and this was born
9. Poly count too high
10. All of the above
I really don't want what this ship will be civilian, i just don't know to which faction it can belong. So if any faction is intersted i'll give this ship them with pleasure.
And as i said this ship possibly replace pirate's werewolf?

Which ship?

How much is not too high? I'm really dont know, because it's my first work.
And thanks for yours comments.

Vsevolod, Hades is right. I am merely mocking what the usual responses will be. It is actually a very good construct. I would love to fly something like that. As per my mocking, I just don't see many of these independent ships going through.
Also, perhaps detailing the ship a bit more, letting people know which program you used would help too. Another thing to do would be to place a picture of your ship along side others which would have similar sizes and handling. Gives people a more rounded idea of what they are dealing with.
As with most ship submissions, it is always nice to get the actual devs involved with the project as they help you develop your skill. Which also increases your chances of getting your submission into the game.
Just some constructive criticism to balance my undue mocking earlier. Look over some of the earlier ship designs, see which ones were accepted and which were not, then also maybe PM some of the modelers who got theirs accepted and ask them about your ship. That's the best advice I can give.
Reminds me a bit of the 4.86 IMG fighter. For Rogue VHF stats, this thing would have to be large... as wide as a Spatial probably. Without textures however, I remain undecided.
[Edit]Polycount high, SA_Scavenger? This thing probably has an exceedingly low polycount. No round surfaces on it.

It's a really nice ship. I like the bulky look it has until you realise that it has a rather slim body and the look comes from the wings or projectory armor.
That's a nice feature. If it was in game I would want to have one.
