Does this also fix the weird map thing? My map grid is all screwed up with widescreen resolution.

that when play in widescreen, their NavMap is screwed up, cuz the numbers and letters are not perfectly aligned
with the grid, making quick coordinate setting a little more difficult. And that zoom-in-zoom-out trick doesn't work.

It looks good too:)But I'll get you one this evening. I don't know how screwed the map is for you guys, but for me it looks fine. Can you tell me a little details on what is screwed exactly so I can compare? Thanks.

I actually prefer how the HUD looks as it is.

Back when I had my old monitor, I always had issues accidentally clicking on HUD when the target was on the lower edges of screen, which was rather annoying cause I don't like playing with collapsed HUD, but since I got my new widescreen monitor, I've never had that issue again because there's always some room to aim at the edges of the screen.

So if it's ever gonna be implemented on Disco installation, I believe it'd be better if it's put in as an option the player can enable on mod activation, rather than a default feature.

Of course I would use it if I didn't work out a way to make the changes permanent and make 100% of the game look good. For me, the command line kept menus weird. I'm not sure but I think it also leaves your HUD in 4:3 so you get a weird HUD cluttered around the center of your screen with empty spaces on the sides.
Ah, I didn't notice that at first, mostly because the hud in the middle doesn't bother me.

Good work then!

Here you go: Sector System map

As for what is screwed up:

In my case I have this map since I changed my resolution (following another guide thread) to 1680x1050.

Nice work. I believe Cannon said he was working on a fix also, maybe you helped him out!

Epic level kudos!

I use other trick-
I use the Launchpad
http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=74599
and the hud shifter it has the same effect, the only downfall is when I logg at the game for the first time I need to undock and dock in order to have the full upper part of the hull, i have only undock button when I logg, after I change char or undock /dock all fits perfect. I also have the map thingie but I can live with it.

This fix has made is so, I no longer have to undock to see my hudshifted 1680,1050 resolution.

Thank you very much, you have saved me time from undocking on my trader, and then having to dock back again, to see my hud.

:D

I had Hudshift, and 1680,1050 resolution fix before. But this works, even before undocking!

Glad you posted this for us mate.

Kudos.

Update: My navmap fixed itself too. they're finally in the right spot.
