But these things do not give you the privilege to run around like spoiled children, blaming the veteran members for all of your problems, similar to what VR did back in the day. There's a reason these members are called veterans and the reason these factions are official.
call it lack of respect or whatever you like but none of the guys you call veteran player ever showed anything that d make them any better than the rest of the players. But and maybe that is what you are referring to they act like they are in fact better than everyone else. Never found out why. To make it short: Yes, we do not care a bit of what the official factions want us to do.

If you have been mistreated by them, get over it.
This is how it is everywhere on any server on any game.
If a faction leader that has total power of the NPC faction tells you to jump then you must ask "How high?"
since they are tasked with how the NPC faction roleplay is shaped and molded in the mod.
I think that this is exactly the problem....how can you take someone seriously who believes he is better than you cause he played a video game longer than you? Well in my opinion you cant.
funny sidenote: we might be on the server for only a year but guess we played freelancer much longer than most "veteran"players.
Also why should i listen to someone who is more or less responsible for the rather bad image of my chosen NPC faction?
So if someone wannabe important comes along and tells me to jump, i will ram that guy 20 feet into the basement and ask him to repeat it.
simply put: if one player disrespects another he shouldn't be expecting any friendly response.

We all know you planned on gathering a number of Jinkusu (once you were allowed to fly them again) and lolraiding Omega-3 as revenge for having your character removed as the admin of Freeport 1.
We know this because were given Skype logs where you clearly state this. I confronted you with this information on the forums and you denied it. Until Dane stepped up and said he was the one who passed the information along, you conveniently shut up after that.
Let us take a look at your past factions, shall we?
IBS? A group of Corsairs, Order, and Zoners. You used Jinkusu to guard miners. You used three IDs for one faction so that you could gain access to three factions worth of technology. After being informed that the Corsairs and the Order weren't friends you ditched the Corsair stuff. Kudos there. You then used Order stuff to guard miners in the Taus. I tried to help you with this faction. You ignored me. Joe also spoke to you and you then formed the ZG3E.
ZG3E? Can't say much about it, didn't last too long. Though I know I saw another Jinkusu guarding a miner with this tag. This faction was quickly replaced by the ORI.
ORI? A direct import from the Stargate Universe that was completely un-original. Not to mention didn't fit within Zoner role play, seeing as the ORI were aggressive religious fanatics and Zoners are anything but aggressive. You lolwutted around Sirius, refusing to conform to Zoner role play and instead do what you want. This resulted in the three official Zoner factions using faction rights against you, because you were causing issues for them. Ended up being forcible disbanded by the admins for excessive rule violation.
PYM? Kusari Naval group that acted very much like the ORI. Aggressive religious fanatics, who brought a foreign warship, the largest known in the sector, into Kusari. When the [KNF] ordered it to leave you refused and defending it. Which is ooRP for any KNF to do unless they are traitors. You then fired upon the Emperor. I won't say it was bad role play, I'll say that the actions of the characters were extremely idiotic. Otherwise it was just role play.
NORP? A faction made purely to spite the community because you felt the community had slighted you. A kid acting out because his mother took away his toy. Again, disbanded by the admins due to excessive rule violations and due to the nature of the group itself.
ORI 2.0? Didn't notice it.
ORI3? From what I know you merely planned the faction as a means to spite the community again. You waited until you were able to fly a Jinkusu to form the faction and until Uzed was un-banned. Why wait to form the faction if you truly wanted to role play it? Because you couldn't use the big toy to annoy other people? As for the in game nature of ORI3? You haven't caused any problems yet and maybe you won't.
Thing you need to remember is that the player adapts to the community, not the other way around.
I'll give you some facts about Zoners:
1. Zoners aren't a military power. They cannot stand toe to toe with any of the House militaries. They can't stand toe to toe with the Corsairs or the Outcast.
2. They don't act as aggressively as your Zoner characters have, doing so would result in them being killed off.
3. They use violence as a last resort.
I know you're going to claim those are my opinions of what Zoners are. I'll counter by stating those are the opinions of the majority of the members of the official factions as well as every Disco developer I know and have spoken to regarding Zoners.

And the rules regarding being OORP etc go in line with this.
A few Zoners who are aggressive is fine. If they are smart they will know when to be aggressive and when not to be. They wouldn't have got a Jinkusu otherwise. You don't get idiots at the top posts of such a ship.

well you forgot RSC in your little overview...lemme help you:
RSC...a great GRN faction with valors, valors and valors. unfortunately its members were declared traitors and FR5ed after shooting the "nantes" princess ship along with its protectors.
about ORI3 and your great skype logs:
that is exactly what i am talking about!
you are so all knowing about us that you must have missed the simple fact that there is no jinkusu invasion although we are allowed to fly them for like a month now. so good luck with your jinku conspiracy, i am sure you have many listeners. Just let me give you an advice....dont take bets on it as it wont happen;)
concerning NORP....there was no rule violation as reason for the disband.
and yes i know your view of zoners....
...and im still not interested in it.
there are other servers, vanilla only mostly, where zoners are a pretty cool faction. and it suits them so much better than this white knight pantywaist behaviour shown by the official zoners here.

Then please go and play there where your roleplay genius can be truly appreciated for what it is.

Really? No rule violations in regards to it being disbanded? This little snippet begs to differ:

The NORP faction is disruptive of gameplay both in-game and on the forum.
Your members may be taking this matter personally. This is not the intent.
Your members need to read the rules thoroughly. There are many incidences of rules violations on the forum and in game.
In order to develop your roleplaying, you need to take measures to collaborate with existing players.
Action taken:
NORP faction dissolved. Tag removed from all ships.
OORP tech mixture fixed in some cases.
PYM faction dissolved. Tag removed from all ships.
PYM ships released from jail.
Ban on battleships for three months remains in effect for all former PYM members.
All NORP/PYM members are forbidden from forming a faction for three months from this date.
Any further infractions will not be tolerated.
If Zoners on other servers are so cool, why aren't you there?
There's room for everyone in discovery, look at jarek. He hardly speak english and yet he's a very cool player that enjoys the game.
Your fun does not cut it for this server, clearly. Uzed actually listened and accepted to talk with people in a reasonable manner and I'm really sad that he was the one that got banned first because clearly you should have been first, you are the one with a bad influence. He wasn't.
But the funniest of all is that cap factions exist, shall I quote the BNG. The BNG have no issues with anyone what so ever and I had good interactions with them for a cap faction (TF7 worked well too.)
You have caps made to annoy people with a knowledge close to zero of what you're supposed to play as, are you expecting a damn miracle ? Now I'm going to stop you right here about the zoners as well, I played Zoners way before you did on discovery and flew the Noveria-2 Fearless Cruiser & Corvo Cruiser versions. I got into fights multiple times with the Outcasts because I followed my char roleplay but still took into account the zoner roleplay. There can absolutely be aggressive zoners, but not your way, not with the sole purpose of annoying every single player you'll come close to.
PYM started great, the story was nice and setting perfect. But you had to ruin it again with caps and unfairness.
Now I'm not expecting anything else than a "omg why u all so evil wit me" followed by a long "why I'm so great".
' Wrote:There can absolutely be aggressive zoners, but not your way, not with the sole purpose of annoying every single player you'll come close to.
I'll throw you a bone, Dakun. The reason you're aggressive Zoners havne't worked is because you are doing it wrong. You want an example of a good Zoner group that was far more aggressive than normal?
Zoners Against Slavery. They blended Zoner role play with a hatred of slavers and it made sense. The used this blended role play to wage a war on slavers. Though, their role play was only possible due to a SRP.
The point is, they role played aggressive Zoners successfully because they worked with the system. Not against it. Your main issue is that your aggressiveness with the ORI was also directed at the Zoner factions. You did things that forced us to take action against you, then were aggressive towards us for it.
Another example of aggressive Zoners? The Baxtors. Zoner IFF, Pirate ID'd ships. I'm not going to tell you who they are (not me!) because that would be rude of me. However, I'll say what I know of them (may be faulty though). From my encounters with them, they are out taking what they feel is theirs and they don't agree with other Zoners passiveness. How are they successful? They don't stick to one area or cause to much trouble, thus forcing the powers that be to force the Zoner powers that be to move against them.
Hell, the Zoner Alliance even discussed them and the result was that as long as they don't pirate other Zoners and don't cause enough trouble that other Zoners start to be prosecuted for their actions, they were to be left alone and allowed to do what they wish.
Take the advise of Athenian:

You ignored this advise and through your actions and words you've alienated yourself from the rest of the Zoner player community. I offered my help with IBS and I also asked that the others give you a 2nd chance and let you admin Freeport One. What that means is, it is going to be extremely hard for you to collaborate with us because you've shown you have no intention nor do you take our advise.
Perhaps you can take the examples I've mentioned and form something that blends Zoner RP with your desire of an aggressive Zoner. If you can manage that without all the childish behavior you've displayed in the past, you'll find the official Zoner factions will leave you be.

Our beloved home server unfortunately was shut down a few years ago. And on most others there only is low activity and we / i also really like this mod. Too bad that exactly on this one my fav group (zoners) aren't as awesome as im used to it. But we can change that, just have patience.

actually i got the first "more than 2 weeks" ban (30 days)
Uzed already is unbanned so no need to talk in past tense, he currently just havent got too much motivation to play i think. But im sure he will be happy to hear that the great Alley thinks he is more nice than me.

hmmm...that is no trolling now (really!) but i havent heard anything of either of them. So maybe that was before my time here or they aren't too active.
ORI and the other factions werent just "aggressive zoners", we also were "spotlight zoners"
nah really i have no idea why zoners ended up like that here, but maybe you also should be open for a bit of change ;)

but as you are here now at least you brought a funny sign with ya. liked it.
Perhaps you're right, Dakun. Why are we fascinated by the misfortunes and foibles of others? Why do people gather at a car accident? Why do we continue offering comments and advice to someone who is obviously unwilling to benefit from it?
Because sir, you do not exist in a vacuum. Your asinine actions and behavior reflect on all Zoners, and show your blatand disregard for most everyone else who "lives" and plays here.
This particular car accident has lost its interest. If I am reading the following quote correcty, you are not only spitting in the faces of your fellow players, but the Admins as well:
Quote:both ways compared...i have to say being the aggressor and just having fun no matter how hard the officials cry is much cooler than try hard to achieve anything the usual way and getting punched by some "elder elite players" for it.
That was the first nail in your current coffin. I could hang around and watch the others driven home, but even gory car accidents get boring eventually.
