Ok, so before the new release( due to fit storys ), Theres gonna be a Huge fleet battle, not between factions, like Phantom, AW stuff like that, its a house fight, heres how it breaks down.
Basically, If you show up, the type of ship you fly determines what side your on, example, if you show up in a Liberty Dreadnaught, Cruiser or gunboat, your on liberty side, if you show up in a Rheinland battleship, Cruiser or gunboat, your on Rheinlands side.
It doesn't matter what faction your in, SF can be flying side by side with Phantom or AW, same goes with Rheinland.
The point is to have the house ships, now say you don't have a ship for either side, well I can fork over funds to buy a Cruiser or gunboat, or you can watch and take screen shots.
Rules:
1. Only ships allowed are Gunboats, cruisers and Battleships, fighters will just get mauled, unless theres a group of people that will agree to do a dogfight inside a fleet battle, Same rules apply can only be liberty and Rheinland fighters.
2. No sheild bots or nanos, if we do where gonna be there all day people.
3. I'll post the story for it soon, with the help of Firebird on why its happening.
4. Battle will be in hudson, each side starts at there respective jumpgates, and fight in the middle.

Well this presents a problem... AW are mercenaries so we use house ships but from multiple houses... We should have it so that player factions aligned with a certain house have to use that ship but non-house factions aren't sent to a side depending on their ship. This way Phantoms, TG, and AW can participate on whatever side they chose.
Expect AW to be on the side that will give the most money :D.
This isn't a Faction fight, its a HOUSE fight, meaning its Liberty versus Rheinland not SF vrs RM or anything like that, think of it as simple as a big NPC battle, its the ship that counts not the name of the player thats flying.
Example: Korrd has a Rheinland battleship, there for he would sign on as Rheinlands side.
several SF members, if not all have some sort of liberty capital ship, so there going to be on Libertys side.
Now for you people without any Liberty or rheinland ship, its your choice If you participate, you can be deemed Mercs, or you can represent a house in the conflict your call, just please post what your plans are.

I would be willing to start up the dogfights inside the fleet battle. I can say we are mercenaries hired by (whichever side has less people). Then we fight with the other team's fighters and the winner gets to pump the other team's BSs full of Novas :D. Personally since this is a NPC kind of fight we should have armor upgrades. Someone neutral holds everyone's armor and novas until the match is over. This would encourage the use of sunslayers and other original FL weapons. As well as remind people how to dogfight when you can't afford to get hit more than 4 times.
The Kusari Destroyer is weak.....best cruisers are the ones who have most turrets, same goes for BS`s. Except the liberty cruiser, because it has the main gun :(
I have a kusari BS, an eagle and a marsflyer....nothing rheinland or liberty :(
