[color=#FFFFFF]I'm choking on the irony here how people forget that fairplay is fair when the guns are not pointed at you. And the hypocrisy of those whom I've seen jump on a single nomie with 2 dreadnoughts is mind boggling. Anyway I recon this should be locked before it turnes into a paintball game with flamethrowers

Hypocrisy much? Try going to Dublin in a corsair ship and see how your friends act.
You are a bunch of miners, not some house navy, and you should be running like hell when you see big bad blue things coming your way. The squids are there to kill us all and once you get your head around that you'll feel a lot better.
From where I'm staying simply escaping alive from a Voidrunner swarm looks like a win and miners choosing to stay and fight them looks kinda <strike>stupid</strike> weird
B[color=#FFFFFF]ecause everyone thinks their current char's faction's RP is the greatest and the most justified one, obviously linking it to total PvP supremacy. Miners who think themselves a formidable military force, Outcasts who stay and intentionally fight LN ships despite the fact that really the only thing they can do in Liberty is escort smugglers ( yes I count me here as well) such are the actions born from the aforementioned belief

IMG withdrew to the Hood. Not much further they can run in Dublin... It's when the attack is pressed into the Hood (basically engaging us around our own base) that we make a stand and bring out heavies. BAF would do the same thing around Essex. Mollies the same thing around Arranmore. Keepers the same thing around Iota.
And ye, meow, it's a game.
@IMG. Double the Hydra count next time?

Shooting humans is their role play. They didn't fail at it. They did exactly what their role demanded of them.
Calm down, cool down, and click respawn. Then go have fun.
I've been blown up by a Marduk with only 2 lines of role play too. It was actually a Marduk, a Scorp, and a nomnom bomber. Funny thing is, I knew they were in the system but still jumped into the system. It was more fun to see them and act all scared and stuff and be blown up then go park my BWT on Hood till they were gone.
I think his main issue is being 1lined twice by supposedly a ship that is for the highest ranking. Just becuase your nomads does not make you above the rules, insta-killing someone near their own base with this ship is extremely poor form. Furthermore, voidrunners? LF with VHF powerplant. A nomad ship to dublin has to either go through the omegas with the corsairs, hessians, and zoners, or through the entire kusari battlelines and bretonian battle lines. I dont see how they could bring one there easily, and when you do bring it, you use it in a way just becuase you want a single ship dead. Heres an idea, you blame the IMG for bringing heavys. how about bringing vhf or bombers? The only reason i see that the marduk even had to be used was because the nomads chose the ship that couldent be hit, to face sluggish ships.
Bring some bombers or gunboats of your own, or vhf even. a solaris zephr is NOT hard to avoid due to solaris range being tiny.

stop crying now, the topic really is dead gone done and buried and needs a big fat lock on it.

I would like to add something if I may about the general Keeper roleplay, not about this event in question.
I think in a sense, The Keepers may need to re-invent how they transmit their RP.
For example along the lines of ***(a feeling of heat fills the area, intense heat as though a million people were furious in unison)***. This is a nice unique roleplay technique, although sadly due to its complexity, in-game is only practical to have it on /setmsg command. Which is more robotic or in one perspective, meta-gaming-RP.
Therefore, is it possible for the Keepers to just make it more practical and 'human' in their conveyance of roleplay? Why not let go of the symbols and talk in a, how do I put it. Attempting to speak English, but getting a bit too literal with it?
The only example I can think of is the Hanar that talk in 3rd person perspective and the like.
Think of it as the Nomads getting better at telepathic or whatever technique to be a little more clear for humans to understand. Think of it as evolving or developing for greater intelligence gathering or confusion sowing.
