Caja Collister contacted Professor Alfred Kronenberg.

After a short flight Caja reached Freeport eleven.

She went to the bar and send a transmission to the Professor.

She sat down at one of the tables.

[color=#33FFFF]"Well then. Lets tell him I'm here." she said to herself.

After some typing on her mobile panel she leaned back.

The professor looked up as a beeping sound originating from his computer assailed his ears. He gave a last look at a greenish crystalline object lying on a desk before him, then stood up looking at the direction of the source of the beeping. This room of the apartement was lacking decoration, other than the various scientific equipment all filling most of the free space. He stood still for a brief second before proceeding to his computer, where he without much hesitation put the keyboard to good use. The beeping sound ceased and the blank bluish screen turned to a more colorful visual embodyment of an operating system, and in a matter of seconds his eyes begun reading a short yet sufficiently long enough message. Not wasting much time and unnecessary effort, he turned around and walked out of the room

Within minutes he stepped into the bar, where the Colonel was supposed to be. As he looked around, he quickly noticed the face familiar from his computer screen, provided by her transponder signal upon sending her first few transmissions to the professor earlier today. He nodded and walked to the table of the woman, where he cleared his throat in the case she didn't notice him already
- Colonel Collister, if I am correct - he greeted her, and in the same moment she gave a verification, Professor Kronenberg reached out with his right arm to shake hands with her - I am pleased to meet you personally

She sighd' with relief cause she did not wait for long this time.

*First time anyone meets me in time.*

She thought and smiled.

[color=#33FFFF]"Good day Professor Kronenberg. I'm pleased as well."

Caja shaked the Professors hand and sat down.

"Please take a seat. Would you be so kind to tell me a bit about yourself before we start with the business related stuff."

She wanted to start with it immediately but did not want to anger the Professor.

So she just tried to be polite - she never was good in being polite.

The professor smiled warmly as the Colonel asked him about his career
- Well, as I do not now how much did you read about me in your files, I believe I can sum up the most important things. I pursue many arms of science, as I can not concentrate on just one branch and let my knowledge in the rest just wither away, or not even materialize. The many studies at some degree can not exist without each other, and unlike most of the scientific brains of Bretonia, I did understand this vital fact. Sadly, due to my wide variety of interest, my collegues somehow could not follow my way of thinking, and deemed me mentally instable despite psychological and medical examinations proved otherwise, how jealous of them. But it is not me who is important, but what wonders I pursue. Did you imagine xenoarcheology and basic runology could have some strange connections as well? On occasions of course, there are many things such as interesting as the Daam Kovosh writing, but it is undeniably one of the most energetizing and mysterious topics. But perhaps the greatest of the possibilities lie in galactic-grade space travel, such things are currently deemed impossible, but... as you among the ranks of the Order might be aware of, it is not just a dream of fools and imbeciles. After my short time working along your scientists, I also believe that the closure of the Nomad War was succesful due to the respectable scientific team using the technology inproperly, I wonder what effects their efforts could have triggered if they used those artifacts the way tey were supposed to work... for I am sure the Hypergate was not supposed to "clean up the mess" of it's guardians. But... enough of this, if you have any more questions of interest before talking about your offer, let me know

"Okay - okay - Too much scientific stuff Professor. I'm just a Colonel"


She had to smile a bit.


[color=#33FFFF]"So - in uneducated language: I possibly have some nomad stuff for you to research on."

"Something big - And of course you would have to share all insights with us, the Order."

"And.... since we are the Order I cannot guarantee that you will get paid for it -

nor that anyone will every hear about your research."

"You know - we are the Order - we are aware of the threat - and we are aware of beeing dead broke."

"But we learned to be used to make a good job without the best supplies - let it be money or goods."


She sigh'ed and watched out of the Freeports window for a moment.


"Yeah. Well - That all I can tell you so far in this location."

"For the details I need to bring us to a saver location first - an Order base."
