' Wrote:Well. I'll be honest and say that only USI can be called trading faction.
Ageira - SF wing, PvP.
Bowex - fights Kusari, PvP.
IMG, fights many guys, PvP. Mining, huge profits.
[TAZ] - not trading faction as far as I know.
Ageira| is not a PvP faction. Don't point fingers because IC| is not on the list.
' Wrote:All in all, activity comes from PvP too. That includes wasting time in Conn with tagged ships.
I am not against it, simply I don't see how such factions can be praised as active trading factions.
If that opinion is not liked by you, it does not mean it is incorrect. From my PoV, it is more than correct.
Maybe it touches you personally, but there is no reasons to be so defensive, unless my statemaents is true.
We are an active trading faction. A majority of our time is spent trading. We have a large wing of Security ships in order to provide more around-the-clock protection for our assets, mobile and immobile, and to be flexible depending on the type of threats we face.
Ageira| does not "waste" time in Conn. We go in, we train and practice, and we leave. We do not loiter.
While the actual number of Ageira Security ships is large in comparison to the number of transporst, many players own both fighters and bombers, and still more are shared ships. The number of players who fly Security ships are much less than those flying trade ships.

We've got pilots with varying levels of experience and skill, just like any faction.

The following is an official USI statement.
That shipname sounds like Gonorrhea
Some confusion ensued in the Teamspeak chat when we traded together the other night
That is all.
It sounds nothing of the sort. Lrn2language.
If you really want to push the point, add me on skype, I'll get my mic and demonstrate.
@ everyone who says they've never seen us: Ageira does not always log on to the server in big swarms. Our player base is quite spread out in terms of time zones, so each player logs in at the most convenient time for them.
If anyone has a problem with the way Ageira| behaves in-game, then I invite you to take your comments or criticism to our feedback thread.
All Ageira needs now is a pirate section, that way I can get my bad side into action on Ageira time (j/k Echo)
Personally, in the last month I've spent 30 minutes in Conn perfecting the Lane Flip....pirates, come and get me. I dare you.........:P
The recent licence in to Rhineland has made for extra incentive to trade for me! Not the "same ol' lane routes". In addition to that, we have routes into Kusari, Bretonia, the Taus.......That helps a lot to be able to RP with g/l parts and to mix it up.
Besides trading and providing security for transports, we also get to "patrol" for lane/gate part smugglers. I've ticked off a few smugglers myself with my bomber:)
I think it's great that everyone is so active in all the factions. Makes for a busier server and more RP opportunities. Again, great job everyone!
I drive truck for a living....then I come home and do the same thing in a giant, computer generated ship...lol
USI has been getting it's butt in gear recently, thanks largely to changes in command, and one Michael Trenton. We have started up a good number of operations to hopefully appeal to people looking at it from afar. The application puts everyone off though, and I must admit it's lengthy, but as you will hear from everyone who has joined, it was worth it.
We also make an active effort to clean up Liberty, gives us something to do while sitting around, and we escort any traders that ask.
Ageira, I was surprised to see it so active, and glad. It's impressive to see their activity shoot up, especially since it's hard being a group mostly focused around the RP of technology research. So Kudos to Echo.
