Do credit cards count towards level in-game?

Ok quick question, do credit cards add to the player's level in-game?

I ask this since some and me included are thinking about using freighters to trade cards over the givecash command due to the fear of losing money.

Think about it level 40+ freighters and pirates.

Spazzy will have a wet crotch every time he logs his LR
