The major was lost in her thoughts for some time, her eyes fixed on the horizon beyond the windows, but her mind completely elsewhere. Hearing some new voices snapped her back to reality, so she turned around to see Golanski and Hunter talking with a fresh recruit. She looked at the scene for some time, then decided to make her introduction.
Santiago: Buenas tardes gentlemen. *looks at Aelita* New recruit, aren't you? I am major Corazon Santiago, 2iC of Cerberus. You may have heard of us, or may not. We don't tend to advertise our presence much. But don't believe everything they say on us... we don't eat alien babies for dinner. Not more than once a week anyway. *chuckles, and offers her hand*
'Well Bolevara... for now just beggining, once ready recruits should be ready for your expectations I think...' He looked at Aeilta. 'All people have potential for improving. We learn whole life, and no matter whether secondary or primary fleet I want to see up to we are prepared for everything. Some just need a bit of guidance.'
"Ever aince that flight into Major, I have been improving. Remember-not only will you learn how to defend humanitt, you also shall learn how how to have compassion for humanity. Now, I don't expect you to board a Nomad-infested carrier and shoot your way out."
He chuckled.
"Just remember, Michal needs all the pilots he can get, as does Major Santiago. Now, I'll let them do thier sales pitch regarding Primary and Cerberus."
Jeremy leabed back, toying with his crown necklace.
Scarlet rises from her seat at the bar, the bottle she'd been drinking from left empty, the remaining drink her her glass in hand. She strolls over towards the chatting group slowly and casually, before taking a nearer seat. Once more seated she leans over from her chair, just able to tap Jeremy on the shoulder.
"Tell me Mister Hunter, do you have some time to chat?"
[22:29:00 | Edited 22:29:52] Corey (Gheis): Just because I'm an admin doesn't mean I can't appreciate an attractive woman.
"Hostile. Death, hatred everywhere. But amid it all is beauty. The systems, the planets. I haven't seen it firsthand, but friends have sent me pictures and told me of thier experience. It is a place I would not wish to be tied to in amy way."
Jeremy took a swig of his soda.
"And random? I've had more random things, believe me."
