He shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary him, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember him.
R.I.P
I regret to say that I barely knew you, though you did help me once when I was lost in all the newness of disco.
It truly is our loss that you are gone, but like Waratah said, you certainly won't be forgotten.
See you there one day amigo, with any luck we'll be able to kick back and play some 4.86 together
I too rarely say something. Someones passing is something that cannot be added too.. We all confront this and deal with it as we must do.
But bear.. Passed on a message that is so ridiculously truthful and simple that i think each of us honestly need to look at and let sink in.
Is the paranoia.. the hatred.. the stupidity and everything that makes things suck in this world.... and... Im sure he meant here too. Worth it.?
This isn't an accusation.. its just.. Reread that final message.. look at yourselves look at who you don't "like" or "hate" or.. hell feel how you know you shouldn't feel. Seek a peace thats esily found in just.. letting it go.
and of course.. Go outside and take a walk (if its nice hopefully) .. appreciate it.
I did get to spend a bit of time with Bear - I was always struck by how much he actually wanted to make a difference and always tried to find an amicable solution to things. In the conversations I had with him over time he never really seemed to lose his optimism - had I have been in his situation, i don't think i would have handled things half as well.
We've lost one of the good ones here, one of the best.
My condolences to his family and all who knew him.
If only his parents could see this thread, I think it would of helped them. Knowing that your son/brother was so loved in every aspect of the world including the internet, and although a bunch of text on a screen may not mean much, the principle that we all care so much does justice to the memory to Brendan.
