These threads, like 90% of all feedback threads serve only one point, to avenge in game losses.

OP has a grudge, noteable one, against all the factions he has named.

He figures he will launch into a diatribe against said factions and faction leaders.

The usual indie suspects come traipsing along to add their comments that boil down to "yeah Factions suck"

Faction leaders defend themselves politely... Observations are ignored.

So faction leaders get annoyed, stand up and swing back... suddenly that means they are assaulting the complainants?

You don't have to like my response, I do not care. Our RP remains our RP, we do not... and I stress this.

We have ZERO obligation to explain any of it to another player. We certainly have no obligation to justify it.

You have questions, go off open the forums and backread. The answers are there if you actually bothered to check.

Liberty, IMO, is the first or second most likely house (depending on whether you see Liberty as anarcho-capitalist and how close you compare Bretonia to the UK) likely to adopt socialism. I really don't see why the Coalition wouldn't seek this, but I REALLY don't think that Liberty would "welcome a Coalition escort" for the trade vessels. I can see why they would say that formally, as the coalition transport would DEFINITELY get attacked, but it makes more sense that it would get a joint escort or much more likely just an LN/LSF escort.

People's RP will (never) make you happy. Ever. Because what you want to interpret from the universe & what the universe does, are two different things.

In essence....

If you don't like it, kill them in RP. If you can't do that, accept them.

Just because IMG does like RPing with many factions on a more friendly and not full blown hostile level -
keep in mind, IMG is very open to many factions, we're a bit like the Zoners , but we HAVE enemies which
we fight, that gives us even a more friendly stance with those who do so as well.

We are mostly independent from houses and their diplomacy, open to those who think like we do. Like the
Hessians or even on some point the SCRA. Keep in mind, the SCRA is not slaughtering civilians. They fight
the militaries. Hessians also have a strong connection as many of our miners are from the Rheinland corps,
just like many of our miners are.

Our stance towards the Council is defined by the storyline, but why wouldn't we cooperate with someone
who also opposes the Outcasts, our main enemy in Tau 23? Also we don't really like the Gallics moving in,
even though we have to stay neutral so we don't lose our space. So we will support the Council wherever
we can.

The Order has interest in being around our territory for Gallia espionage I guess and of course because
they want to know more about the OC - Nomad relation. As long as they don't cause trouble, they may be
there. They also are "enemies" or at least unfriendly to our enemies.

I don't have to comment on the CR, do I? We helped them, they help us. Same enemies, they're just much
more militarised and almost a minihouse. If IMG and CR was combined we'd be like GMG, but we're still not
the same - CR and IMG. We have different diplomatics and don't always agree on everything.

In general we also have good relations to other "free" miners, who oppose the "oppressive big mining
corporations".

Just like the OC or the Corsairs we are surrounding us with those who think alike us and face the same
enemies. Of course, because we face BOTH the OC AND the Corsairs, we have A LOT of possible friendlies
over Sirius.

But that's still not an alliance. We still all do our own stuff. Just with similar goals, similar enemies, similar
opinions, similar stands or other similarities, we have good reasons to be at least neutral to each others and
in the occasional fights help each other. Or even just help each others against a greater enemy.

We still face A LOT of enemies because we're spread so widely over Sirius.


I should say, that I'm opposed to the Order stationing more then a little research squad around the Taus.
But I think they know that already and don't intend to bring any bigger fleet there anyway?

Fair enough, Alvin. Just for the record I was trying to understand the RP surrounding the starting of the SCRA and its ties or lack thereof to Sol. However, I see you get annoyed by that and believe you are entitled to take swings at people for suggestions or disagreements. Now that I know you don't care about me or my opinions and think my questions are rubbish, I don't see any reason to value your input or opinion either. Take care.

This thread, right here, was created by an individual with a gripe against this faction. Your questions were answered. This didn't satisfy you, fair enough.

Ultimately, instead of flogging this dead horse and annoying us further by keeping it alive, you can come to me directly and ask your questions.

I will also make it clear, my factions RP, as well as the RP of the other factions here, are not debateable on these forums. I certainly will not engage in debate on what should or should not be.

You want to know why, or how something came to be, ask. The belittling tone, and the disrespect given to myself, Matt, Joey and the others of my faction in here by you, is not the correct way to do it.

You have an opinion, fine, I do not care what that is. If I started listening to your opinion, why I'd have to do it for the whole community... and then things start to get really ugly. Your opinions, simply put, are not valid when it comes to this faction.

You understand why this is. If not, I will explain.

You haven't been with this faction for two years
You have never conversed with the original creators of the faction
you haven't shaped the policy of the faction
nor rebuilt the faction from scratch with your own effort, sweat and frustration
you have not written the lore, nor reviewed it, nor coordinated it across the forums
you have never participated in a single piece of SCRA/Coalition RP
You have never applied, nor been a member of the faction
You have never applied for, nor have been granted a visa to visit Omega-52, and as such never read the rumours/infocards there.
You haven't built ships for the faction
designed lore for the faction
designed systems for the faction
you are not covered by faction rights that state your word (as leader of the faction in question and caretaker of the NPC faction) is final on all RP lore.

Simply put, no effort invalidates your opinion on this factions lore. You haven't earned your right to comment what is/is not our RP.

If you want to ask, ask me directly. But telling us how we should be acting, unacceptable.
