ID Needed for Ship

Good Day,

I am looking at buying a "Crane" Transport Ship. I need to know which ID I need to purchase it. I have had the Civilian ID as well as a Recruit ID, but still no access to buy it. Can Someone help me out. Thanks

You need to find an ID that 1) allows for transports, and 2) allows for trade ships with the correct cargo sizes.

For the Crane, this shouldn't be a problem, seeing as I believe it's a relatively small transport. I'd recommend going with a corporate ID.

Universal, DSE and Ageira for Liberty. Bowex and Gateway for Bretonia. Republican and ALG for Rheinland. Samura and Kishiro for Kusari. It all falls down to which role you prefer.

I have tried to use a Corporate ID (Not sure which one) which will allow to use transports and once I click on buy ship, it states that I do not have the correct ID. What is going on? I have tried with Civilian ID, Freelancer ID. No change.

On which base you tried?
Try with the ID of the base controlling NPC.

I used a corporate ID and it told me that I had the wrong ID. I used the republican Shipping ID. That should be enough to buy it.

Question, why would you not be able to use it as a Freelancer?

As for not being able to use the Republican Shipping ID, I don't know. Did you have the ID properly equipped, and have only that ID in your inventory? If so, maybe try another one.
