Personally I disagree. The Huegenot may be a light cruiser, however I cannot see pirates wishing to limit the strength of their only capitol ship. The only problem is that it has no standard weapons for people to use, AND people are beginning to use Marsflyer turrets on everything. I see the best way round this to be some sort of compromise?

Turn the Huegenot into a mini battleship but still class it as a light cruiser. Lower the manouverability, then take off the guns, drop the cruiser disruptor mount, and make the torp mount variable, like most fighters. As for mines and Counter-measure, I would say drop them as well, they arent much use to a capitol ship being attacked from a different direction. Also boost the price of it, and remove the thruster, small things, just to make it a bit fairer, not completely wipe out the point of the ship?

Thats what I think anyway, oh, and get rid of marflyer's and their weapons once and for all, they ARE ruining the way we customise our ships, I can now decimate most battleships with my Huegenot because I use them, however if I can get others to do so I will also remove them.

I agree with this. Maybe only have 4 of the 14 turrets be level 10 (for missile turrets or Tizona turrets.

Also the gun blasts that go through are at the front half of the ship. Anything can fly or shoot through the front of the cruiser without moving it or hurting it. That defenately needs fixed. Until it is I suggeset aiming for the back end of the ship.

I also agree with removing some things like the mines and such but keep the countermeasures and add countermeasures to existing ships.

Yes, i agree too. Making the huegenot a BS would we something...not at all pirate-style. So weakening it is the solution i think :nyam:

They still do 2000 shield and 4000+ hull damage. And we can still mount 3. 0_o

Not sure. The fwd cannon is level 10, and the gunboat also has 3 foward facing level 10 slots. You can only fire 4 shots before your energy is depleted, though.

The Rheinland gunboat could destroy a BS singlehandedly in the older version. And I'm not removing it. Instead, I'm making it unavailable for purchase, and keeping it as an admin only ship.

Yeah, sure. As long as you don't go terrorising innocent traders in it. But being a pirate by nature, I won't disallow that either as long as you use another account with a ship other than the admin gunboat. =P
