[color=#FFFFFF]All my life I've always believed that Rock & Roll originated somewhere in the 50s perhaps even 1949 from standard 12 bar blues. Recently I developed a fascination with the postwar period in the States so I did a bit of research, on culture, music and so on...Imagine my surprise when I accidentally stumbled upon this life performance from 1938

Please excuse the bad quality but after all the grandparents of most you weren't even born back then.
Now say what you will but this is Rock and Roll sound more than 10 years before the earliest "known" examples of blues morphing to rock in the late 40s.
