Point is... to get to NT, NL you need to get through at least one liberty/kusari faction system. NY has the Alaska way.. but Alaska is partly a Liberty system too and it's not that difficult to defend the single hole in the minefield.
New Berlin has this S13 jumphole half a trade lane away from the planet.
The Magellan-NY jumpgate used in single player was disabled for multiplayer because it unbalanced Liberty space (I think)..... but the S13 JH is still there. Talking about shortcuts - it's also true that you can still jump from Magellan to Leeds... but Leeds is not New London.

As RM member I like it... we have lots of action in New Berlin.. but it's kind of unfair to all the other houses....

Yes, but Magellan - NY JH had a very good reason to be disabled.
When you jump to NY from Magellan, you'r invulnerable.
It's not like that in New Berlin.
And if you would remove S-13 jump hole, i think there would be a horde of traders whining for prolonging their route.
I don't trade, don't take me wrong.
I just know a lot of people who do the Nioblium run, and Diamonds back.

But, it's abused by Smugglers, Pirates, and anything else hostile to the [RM] as a 'quick escape'. If Traders get angry, they could always just go somewhere else.
Maybe move it away from the trade lanes?
I think that should do the job, no need to completely remove it from the system.

If it were up to me, I would mine the NB side... that plus a host of WILD will make sure its not a free ride for any one.
If its in NB why cant we move it out in the boon docks probably in the middle, 100 clicks below the star or something...80 clicks away from every thing......and still mine it....and put a Wild base out these with big big turrets lol. let people think twice before attacking rhineland that way....

Thing is, if I remember correctly (could be totally wrong), moving the jumphole wouldn't work as it's used in Single player. Moving it could screw up the SP campaign entirely. Removing it/Setting it to invisible would work, why? Because it's already invisible in Vanilla MP, so why not here?
I don't see a reason to even touch it, is it -really- a problem for people as it is?

Look, again, there is no real balance if you compare all the houses.
RM and BAF have totally the best BS bases.
I once traveled trough Hamburg, and BS firing big green things can't miss me.
I had a hull breach 3 times:)
Not to speak about lvl 19. wraths.
Now, should we allow all houses to have that strong NPC's and Base guns? I think not.
I think that JH is pretty good where it is.
One thing makes up for the lack of another.
