Akechi was lost in his thoughts when Hans greeted him, taking a couple of extra seconds to reply with a serene tone.
'Thirteen minutes, understood. Mind telling me where I could find his office? And... I'll be more than glad to taste the sake you've got in such remote place like Gran Canaria. Arigato.'
"Ah at the end of the hallway on your right hand you can find his office. And I'll give you some sake from this area. Some Zoners from Kusarian descent brew it and they are good it, let me tell you that!"
He walked off to get it and on the way he instructed a waitress to bring a drink to Eriksson.
Kate noticed the dragon far on her left, near the Hollidays.
"If you would excuse me."
She left Chris alone with the Hunters, and made her way through the crowd enough to approach the Blood Dragon from behind. She slowly approached him, trying to make as little noise as possible, and delicately put her hands on his shoulders, and whispered.
"An honorful Blood Dragon among a pack of wolves, this is certainly not something I see every day. But your people proved more than once to be able to get to their objectives in highly practical ways, so I have no doubts you know what you are doing here."
Sombrero stands up, relaxing from his observing. Maybe it's really not necessary to be that careful here. It's just a party. Everyone should be welcome and should have the possibility to join when they do not intend to bring aggression inside. Sombrero walks back to the table where the Holliday's are sitting.
"Hola..again. Mind if I join you Sir?"
Still careful with the people in the room, Sombrero looks around sometimes, looking for Miller and Dangen.
The Dragon bowed his head gently at Hans as he grabbed the cup of sake. He barely had time to take a couple of sips from the cup when he heard the female voice whispering and the hans of Kate Miller pressing his shoulders. Keeping his serene tone yet feeling molested due to the unauthorized physical contact, he replied back.
'Wolves are noble animals, I'm not sure if we do share the same connotation towards them.'
Then he turned around to get her hands away from him, facing the lady of purple hair.
'The wolves feel agitated at your presence, even. Bad omen, as we call it in Kusari.'
"However, wolves have that tendency of having no rules except their own. I have learned it the hard way. On another topic, there is something extremely disturbing that was reported to me quite some time ago, but I think it's worth a shot. Apparently, an Order agent known as Lena Emmagan would have dissapeared a year ago. And I've been told she had been seen aboard Kyoto, very close to someone known as Teraku Oshiro. This woman had serious health issues, the kind of disease you don't see everyday. Would you happen to know any of these two persons ?"
'Every group plays according to their own rules, I think that's something quite obvious, and the cause of the larger-scale conflicts when such rules want to be imposed, no matter if they're better or worse. But we could spend hours and hours, even days and months discussing what's good and what's bad without reaching an agreement... And today I'm not here to do that.'
Akechi took another sip of his cup of sake. Not as good as the one served in Kyoto but that was still something after many weeks assigned to the Leeds battlefront.
'I'm not sure about the existance of any Order agent in Kyoto with serious health issues, but a Daimyo like Oshiro-sama is always a must-know, as foreigners say. Regardless of the situation, what happens in Kyoto stays in Kyoto. Period.'
"This is extremely unfortunate, but it's another incident I'm trying to prevent from happening, like many others, unless it already happened.
But I guess you want me to leave you alone, which I'll do. But don't consider me as an enemy, Blood Dragon. I will always be on your side untill you harm innocent people."
Kate left the Kusarian alone, moving to a free seat, taking some well deserved rest. She looked at a ring mounted with a purple gem she was wearing, and kept looking at it for a moment.
'There are no innocent people in the place where I come from.'
Akechi added before the woman walked away from him. He finished his cup of sake, placed it on a nearby table and resumed his meditation until the thirteen minutes were over or until another guest decided to poke him.
Looking at the woman, Lennox frowned while thinking. Why was she actually here? What were her objectives? Lennox stood up, walking to her. He wanted to know why she was here. Why should she be interested to take part of a party without a professional reason? He arrived and tried to stay serious, talking without prejudices.
"Hello there. My name is Johan Lennox, Agent from the Order. And yours?"
He probably knew she would recognice his faked question, since he knew her name completely. He just wanted to talk to her, maybe for finding something out or just to talk to a more 'different' person.
