It has been some time but today I flew myself on a transport mission from Dublin to New York on board of Peter Bank's Titanic Tanker, loaded with liquified ore dust.
The convoy introduced Ms. Anna Blanca, flying the Hood Defense Nyx Beta-01 to scouting duty, and it allowed me also to introduce her as my girlfriend to some of the crew. But only so much for personal stuff, I just want to avoid rumors by setting things straight from minute one.
Hostile encounter: on our way back to Dublin an Outcast Tridente attacked the Nyx scout. Three transports turned around and the Gunboat exploded rapidly due to the concentrated fire of the heavily armed and armoured transport vessels. Look at the guncam shot, I think I hit the final moment of the fight quite well.

Just reporting on tonights mining activity.
The yields were incredible, we found a few good veins in the H4 field and decided to bring it home.
Horatio Vale and I were able to fill several transports including 2 IMG Vessels, 1 OSI vessel, 1 Junker vessel, 2 Freelance Transport Vessels, 1 Interspace vessel, and even Horatios cousin Greg in a pirate transport.
I know we normally dont fill Pirate transports, but it was Horatios cousin so we were quite safe. In all we mined about 22,000 units of ore this evening. Not bad for an evenings work!
Thought you might like to know about the good yields in H4 for further operations. Well I wont take up any more of your time sir. See you in the fields!
Yeah, hi there.
Busy day today as it seems. First there were some Ghost-vessels in Omega-3 and defenses were called to
fight them off. Two vessels were spotted when we, that being IMG|Echo-Delta-2, IMG|Eddie.LaCrosse and
me, reached the Aland Shipyard: Ghost~of~Sao~Feng and Ghost~of~the~Pirates.
As we came in distance we engaged them in defense of our perimeter. The fight was slowly dragged
towards Freeport 1 by them and after some time fighting Ghost~of~the~Pirates was shot down by
IMG|Echo-Delta-2 with a very well placed SNAC. As the first went down the second Ghost-vessel fleed further towards Freeport 1, thereby threatening the Freeport by firing within the no-fire-zone. He used the
station a bit like a shield, but carefully we removed him as IMG|Echo-Delta-2 fired a second well placed
SNAC leading to his immediate pod-ification, eh, I mean, destruction. After that we returned to Freistadt
Base.
Later this day another distress call was uttered from the silver fields in Omega-7. A Corsair gunboat was
spotted, Xavi.Hernandez. IMG|Echo-Delta-2 was with me on this one again. As I was in my fighter we were
not able to destroy him easily until a Hessian from the Rote Front came in and helped us. [RF]K-143, a barghest,
was the help we needed to down that enemy. Once he went down, I headed back and resupplied
on Freistadt, as there were two more hostile vessels in Omega-7 which we were looking for. We stumbled
upon the Corsair by accident, so to speak.
After a short search a miner around the fields blew up - sadly we didn't get a call for help from him in time -
shot down by the vessels we were looking for: Ex|Psycho, a Kusari Explorer, and Ex|Salvatore, a Havoc Mk II
bomber. The gunboat was quickly destroyed by a double torpedo from [RF]K-143, as it's armor was weak.
Sadly I got no guncam shot of the explosion. The bomber went down shortly afterwards, again due to a
good hit from the Hessian's torpedos. I must admit, this Hessian was a very skilled pilot, flying a Barghest
like this isn't easy, I guess.
That was all for today. I hope there won't be another call for help in the Omegas...

Well - Hello from the other side of the Sirius sector. Dr. Vale here with my first report of our activities. Apologies for the delay, but we had our hands full here for the first two weeks - making ourselves familiar with the surroundings, leasing a temporary living area at the freeport and such.
Most of all though, we have been bussy surveying the system and getting our first look at the nomad specimens we managed to acquire on our trip here. Unfortunately almost all of them were badly damaged - no help with that as the only way of getting them that is available at the moment is shooting down Nomad vessels - which is a risky proposition in the best of times. The specimens we have are in our possesion mainly due to the help we received from a friendly Zoner capital ship that escorted us through Omicrons 74 and Kappa. The few of those that were viable enough to be subjected to our research did not reveal much, as they deteriorate very quickly. The Gallic design cryocubes are of help only so far.
Dr. Lynchpin, me and the team have been on it almost nonstop for the last week. So far what we have are only a million new questions. As you are well aware, none of us has any experience in the research of this particular type of Alien liveforms. During my term at Cambridge University I came across certain rumors of Nomad research undergoing at several institutions - most of them of the highly classified military type - but that si as far as it went, with nomad research being illegal or highly restricted in Bretonia and Liberty. The only thing we can safely say at the moment is that these Nomad liveforms are totally different in origin and design from the Gaia life and the Alien microorganisms used in terraforming across Sirius.
At present our team simply does not possess the techniques and research models necessary for the task at hand. Our software will need a signifficant reprogramming too - much of the data we manage to acquire does not subject itself well to the standart analysis procedures. Developing new models will take a measurable amount of time. Any usefull results are not to be expected in the forceable future - we will do our best, but the amount of work that needs to be done is enormous.
We did have some success - at least compared to the results of the Nomad liveforms research - with other sides of our mission project.
We have in our possesion several missile warheads of Alien design. Not my field of expertise, but Dr. Lynchpin assures me that those are subjectable to some amount of research - at least the mechanical parts, as the biological elements tend to deteriorate extremely fast even for Nomad made structures.
We had our share of luck on our travel - our Zoner escort did point us to an asteroid field in Omicron Delta known to contain significant Iridium deposits. We acquired some samples, but are yet to subject them to any serious analysis. Also, I suspect that any significant effort in that direction needs to be coordinated with the local Zoner leadership, as we are in their home after all.
On that note, in our rush and euphoria over finaly getting on with the research project we managed to... hmmm... sort of forget about some mundane tasks. Mainly, in order to be able to leave Omicron Delta and travel to the main Sirius systems our team will need official permission from the Zoners inhabiting Omicron 74 system /as we were informed by our Zoner escort/ to enter and exit the Omicron 74 system on a regular basis. The only other way out of here known to us includes passing through what seems to be the main Corsair system - not a healthy venture you understand.
Please advise where should this request originate from - the Guild leadership or our expedition.
We also haven't made any attempts to establish connection with the Zoner leaders managing Freeport 11 /we are not aware if there is any governing body at all/. We shall need your advice on that too.
That is all for now. I will go and remind Dr. Lynchpin to hurry up with his report - he gets so involved in our work at times he forgets everything else... well, I am not much different in that respect, so...

I would like to inform you of our progress here in the Omicron systems.
Yesterday we met David Ribbentrop aboard the IMG|Voyager. I am glad to have a man of his caliber along as it allows me to focus on my research. I will tell you Dr. Vale seems disappointed to have to share the kills with Mr. Ribbentrop, though truth be told there is more than enough action for them both.
We have established contact with the Order. It seems that the Derelict Nomad Artifact in our posession must have drawn their attention, although no one but Dr.Vale and myself knew we had it. It must have thrown a red flag to the FP 11 sensors or something. Anyway while setting out for a system mapping/sample gathering session we were, and I use this word lightly, accosted by 4 Order Vessels: OCV-Hera, OCV-Oziris, 141|Enrico.Davids, and Tactical.Grace. They were curious to know why we were in system of course, but then when they saw our Nomad specimens and our Artifact, they demanded to take possession. Of course we complied, and they somewhat compensated us for the Artifact. We paid roughly 50 million SC for it and they gave us a 15 million SC reward for it. They seemed excited to get it so I think it was worthwhile that we bought it and what leads we did get from studying it will have to furthered when we return to Jakarta, where we have another one.
We were told to contact OSD(order science division) for a possible cooperative research project and Dr. Vale and I would like to do this very much as the Order has been studying these Nomads for quite some time. We could potentially learn much and do so somewhat in safety as the Order apparently has a rather large Armada.
Can you contact the OSD and persuade them to cooperate with our research objectives? Any strides we make would be mutually beneficial to both our organizations. Screens of our conversation follow:
141|Enrico.Davids agreed as you can see to escort us around the system. However at least one BHG|Core vessel came within scanner range and the Order prepared for a fight. Apparently the Order and the BHG| do not get along at all, though I am not sure why. In the confusion we slipped away and were able to proceed into the system. We mapped another cloud which unfortunately did not possess any useable quantities of ore. But what we did find there is SCARY to say the least. A Battleship of staggering power and unknown allegiance was stationed near this cloud. We decided to call it a day after seeing this vessel on our scanners. We were quite shaken as you can imagine. We will continue our research and mapping forays until such time as you get in contact with the Order and tell us how to proceed. Dr. Vale will file a further report if I failed to notify you of any useful information.
I've made a little report as instructed to the Freeport one console about the Ghost behavior
around Omega-3. The report contained the following guncams. All in all three ghost ships
were destroyed so I'm quite satisfied with that.

This is new recruit Johan Bergmann reporting on todays activities in Dublin.
I was flying around in Dublin and decided to dock at the battleship to get to know the people
and maybe learn a few valuable lessons I could not myself. At the bar a gentlemen who's name I cannot remember pointed out to me that it is important to not rub the Mollys pilots the wrong way in this system.
I had not yet encountered any molly pilots, so I decided to make a short flight, get to know the system and see if I could find any willing to chat. After a few minutes I stumbled on a molly patrol, leade by Captain Radley.
He asked for my data. I introduced myself as a new pilot and quickly ensured they understood I had no ill will in mind. He said every new pilot had to prove their intentions, as actions speak louder then words. He told me the possible location of Corsair pilots. If I could shoot those down, they would signal my name as not hostile at their base.
I went to check it out and indeed I stumbled upon some pilots. After some time I managed to shoot them all down. I brought the pilots back to Battleship Hood, where I am at this moment typing this report.
I asked for them to send a message to the Mollys stating I brought back the pilots.
The Mollys seem to have kept their word on my reputation as a result.

My Name is John Brooks, and i am here to inform ya of an attack of some "RH Indies", that tried to pirate me, They Just said: Halt, 3 Millions , and started to shoot, i had to retreat to aland shipyard and dock, dont worry my Armor helped me out. I am just a lonely recruit out in Tau 23, but I send you this message because I have encountered something strange while I was working today.
I was mining niobium at on of our fields in Tau 23, when we were accompanied but a strange vessel. It appears to have been controlled by some form of advanced AI.
As I and the captain of the Atlas-class ship were mining there, we had a little conversation with the vessel.
At the end , it asked me to deliver a message to you. I received some sort of document in my database that I cannot open. What should I do with it?
The vessel said it wanted to meet you and that you would able to understand it.
I managed to take some guncam foto's of the vessel and I have saved an image of the scan of its vessel.
I look forward to receiving order on what to do with the file.
