Maybe u have right.. i dont know... i just taugh before balancing GS/GB must be clear what they are maded for. And will be very simple after that. If they need cerberus, ok. If they need best missles turets, also, ok.

For anyone interested.

Cerbs now are a little slower, do a little less hull and shield damage, and cost double the energy to fire.

In addition, someone mentioned GB shield regen has dropped a little and my BH gunship is slightly less manuverable.

Not sure if there was more tweaking. I for one am pretty happy with the changes.

i am also happy,cerbs are close to that was they was in 4.83. and that is only good

I don't really mount Cerbs anymore, on my corsair GB, just 2 razors, 1 inferno and the rest are normal turrets...

:Di do have to add that a good fighter bomber team, (outcasts) took me down in seconds, (they did however have about 8 npc sabers with them). I was soon in a blaze of fire... Considering you get about 3 fully armed fighters, for the price of one unarmed gunboat,... they are cost efective, and i bet that with about 70 fighters you get for a price of a BS, you can take down as many BS's you like...;)why nerf down the capital ships anymore,....

Yes... Capship guns are considered allowed mostly, because inferno's, battlerazors, mortars and heavy mortars are the main guns with not enough variation to restrict types.

Think about the results of a battleship with 2 Infernos and 10 primaries vs a battleship with 12 primaries... I can bet the battleship with the two infernos would win...

I do try to stay away from them, but on a battleship especially, its more or less impossible.

Yes, but McNeo, if you would have 2 battleships armed like this :

1st - 10 turrets - 2 heavy mortars
2nd - 10 turrets - 2 infernos

there is no guarantee who would win.

If Infernos should be restricted to OC capital ships, then Mortars should be restricted to Order/Corsairs cap. ships.
That simple.
And it would maybe be fun.
Mortars delivering great hull damage, Infernos raping the shield.

yes but when you will destroy hull you need to destroy shield first.
and back to Gb.i still have the same loadout as in .83 only the rheinland turrets(buy in theta on zoner base) replaced with corsairs.(because i will be not sanctioned for oorp weapons,and thanks for answer of my question admin)
but i am still able to destory cruiser or battlecruiser,but bs shields are too much:))

If this where true then what would Lawful and Neutral Battle ships mount. It is all very well limiting the battleship weapons but there need to be alternatives first..

I mean, the Four Houses would be powerless to stop there Flag Ships from being Obliterated from a Corsair/Outcast onslaught. That would render the House BattleShips Useless meaning they will invest heavily in bombers (Price. 1 Bs = About 50 Bombers)
In turn Rendering the Outcast/Corsair Battleships also Useless...

Edit: This topic is about Gunboat Balancing, I may have gone off Topic a little but Infernos And Mortars are for all Cap Ships.

Come on, Traders need to Follow the 4 Hours Cool down after death..

So your dead, Whats that? Your going to get me with a Big Bad Cruiser? As long as it is NOT piloted by yourself let it come...
