this is a teaser - not an intro

- there was also talks about an intro backing up story progression - but that is not it

what was meant to be done in that teaser is show a few features - showy features. - so it really is a bunch of models - a few effects and a few things one can only make a guess about.

it is NOT quite a story progression cut-scene.

The teaser is very well made so I wont comment its quality. Nevertheless I would like to ask few questions which instantly arrived in my mind once the trailer ended:

1. Why there are so few scenes with the real enemy that is rising from the west? (example: The invisaion of GRN ships coming to Sirius)
2. Why 40% of the teaser trailer is pointing only rheinland?
3. The logo of the Exiles in the end of the trailer was formed by 3 flags: Kusari/Council/Bretonia. I've seen some ships from the Council and Kusari but my question is: Where is bretonia in this trailer since its going to be the main battlefield in the mod?
4. Why the video is concentration on quick preview of mulpultiple random encounters instead of showing actions/moments from the story line? Examples could be many:
-Gaians allying with GRN and fighting together the bretonia fleet.
-Kusari fighting with GRN and how they cease fire (the treaty between them gallia and kusari for cease fire).
-A fleet of kusari/bretonian ships fighting GRN in Leeds.
-Rheinland loosing Munster base (fleet battle moments).
-Liberty transporting parts of the munster base with heavy convoy.
-The fall of Toledo, swarmed by nomads.
-More quick images of the epic and interesting systems in Gallia.
-Preview of new Nomad worlds.
- and etc...

To the members that created the trailer: You did great job and please dont take any of my thoughts as offend.

x : 100 = 4 : 25 ----> x= (100*4)/25 = 16%

Already said before, it's a teaser. You can't expect to see all in there.

It's Jonathan Cooke - a voice actor that was kind enough to record his voice for us.
Very nice guy also.
And lightning-fast (about an hour between my request and his mail with recordings)

I have to focus on... other video that's needed for the release. But I was thinking about making a second trailer using scenes I didn't use in this one.

hmmmm, Honestly, In this Trailer i like The last Logo and The New Rhineland Shipyard Most , Rest is Not so impressive ,why voice acting, a Cool music would be better then that, Current Music is Nice, they should made in the Trailer some thing like this, New Caps and Epic Battles and Gallic Fleets Raiding Bretonia and Kusari and something Related to Liberty and Rheinland ,and in the End a Small view of Nomads and Order war would be cool, Well i never Meant to , Not bad Video after all ,Fine.:laugh:

1) Will this gallian bigwig contact Sirius some days before 4.86's release (cristmas), OR a few days after 4.86's release (new year)?
2) Where can we see this speech/sermon/whatever? RP-Event? Comm-Channels?

This happened quite some time ago, when the shared Gallic HC forum account made the proclamation in the Comm area that the Taus and Tau borderworlds belonged to Gallia. They then attempted to impose this declaration with force, and got ganked into last Tuesday. :lol:
