' Wrote:What? I already said capital ships are limited, stop acting like theres going to be more of them then fighters. The ship list has already been narrowed, the lootable weapons has been modified to the sense thats its less then most other factions. Are you a troll? If your not your playing one really well because all these things have been fixed yet you keep going on. Your opinion on the subject is null now because this is at least the 4th time you've mentioned the same things even though they have been acted upon.
Nice style of letting me know some of suggestions were implemented. One cannot ask for a better acknowledgment...(forgive me, for having my doubts).
Good luck & have fun

Because this is a new page I'll make it easier, here's a recap.
1) Capital ships will not be over in abundance. If one GCorp is online he'll be in whatever he likes, if two are online, anything they like, if 3, one Gunship will be online max, the rest will be traders or fighters etc. This only counts in actual operations mind you, if someone in on Gcorp and they're doing missions or their own thing, I can't tell them not to fly their ship of preference due to the nature of the Guild.
2) Looted weapons are for roleplay events only, on normal circumstances only friendly weapons will be used.
3) Which ships are used are lax simply due to the nature of the Guild. Hostile ships and weapons will not be allowed, but neutral and friendly ships are if theres some sort of roleplay behind it only. But once again, our preferred ships are that which are affiliated with the Guild. This is simply to allow characters with a previous past to fly their own ship if they so desire.
4) I'll be making final changes to the ship list soon, basically a few more ships will be removed and added (Primarily the IMG Gunboat will probably replace the Kusari one. And the Battlestar may be replaced with a battlecruiser instead.)
EDIT:
One final note, we have around 20+ members, however, due to the nature of the SA forums we're almost all on different time zones so while we might have a large increase of members, our force will never be very large. We're lucky to have 5 people on at the same time(Early days we had around 7-10)

There's a rule saying: go PRACTICE get skills than come to PWN ALL. Not make excuses to use any and every means necessary in order to win over someone who is better than yourself.
How come is someone who doesn't immediately agree with all you have to say a hater?
And u should "check" ur attitude mate...someone could CD those torpedoes u mentioned, so the blast would cook your ass.....
about the power of the GMG... even if i fully agree with starbutt that the GMG won the sig-13 battle by using the terrain rather than a blunt hammer ( flying a huge fleet into the gasclouds just to be ripped to pieces ) - i d still say that the GMG -- today -- must have enough power to stand their own against rheinland opposition.
rheinland has not reclaimed what GMG won ( whatever it was ) in the war. and so i don t think that GMG has to play the victims role when compared to the rheinland military. it happens that RM ( representative for the r heinland fleet ) is one of the stronger factions around - having a GMG faction that can only duck and hide form RM would be a bit strange.
furthermore, GMG is a successful cooperation that delivers their product to many customers - so i d expect them to be a lot less limited to small crafts - and can prolly go for a larger fleet of gunboats ( cruisers and greater rather not ) - but i would expect GMG to have enough equipment to counter an uprising rheinland, cause they might fear a rheinland that is too strong to go for a very late retrubution.
I'm a bartender, and I can only say... everyone come to the bar and get plastered. Too much tension!
I only use the BH Destroyer because a) it looks somewhat more like an exploration vessel with it's general shape and those radar dishes, and b) it looks really neat. It has all GMG turrets too... Battle razors take about a week to get to the target, heh.
I have a 2nd character who runs with a BH Gunboat, but I'm gonna sell that off and buy an eagle VHF or something. Perhaps a viper MKTwo.

And here we see a perfect example of the type of mindset that bothers me so much. I have a ship that our of RP but it's ok because it looks cool and I think it's neat-o, it doesnt matter that there's no reason for a bounty hunter here. It's the way we want to do it, so bugger off.
Quote: I've removed most kusari ships and left only the ones that are simply needed because we need ships to counter others.
Another example, we will use the ships we are supposed with our RP.....except when we need to use ships that dont fit the RP so we can win.
PS Berrik, did you just join the fourm, are you joining Gcorp, because you didnt really make that clear. You have 3 post and thier all on this thread, did you show up just to fart at us?
Heres an interesting question I don't think I've seen raised.
Which ID will the larger caps carry? And does the GMG ID allow for caps? Not many corporate IDs do, though I think its unfair when some are allowed *cough* IMG *cough*
I like my destroyer. I won't be going any further up the scale.
My GB is going though. As soon as I decide on which fighter in the list suits my needs i'll grab it.
e: is it advisable to use your "character" name or ship name as the name? I was thinking of changing my name to GMG-Goddard as my ship is called the GMGC Goddard.
P Funk, i think GMG is allowed, just as IMG.
There is a big difference between house corporations and independent ones.
Independents don't have a allied fleet to protect their ass.
So they need few ships of their own, i guess.
