So will my old ships (if my accounts haven't been deleted) still work in 4.86? Or if I manage to sell them all, can I take the money with me and buy a crapload of new boats in 4.86?
' Wrote:Erm. Yes! Asuming they were not wiped out already! How long since you last checked on them?
Bang! I'm checking them now and they all appear to be there! Awesome! Although in a way I do wish they had all been wiped, since the most fun is building up a fortune. I guess I could sell them all, give away the ones that can't be sold and then invest all the dough in that station-building stuff I have been reading about.
Pay attention in the forum in case any of your ship needs a special procedure before updating. There's a thread around on what you should do if you own a LABC for example.
Now question to the devs! Is the Cruiser capital class gonna be dockable too?

Can you please post a link? I tryed to find this threads like "what should you do before version switch" but failed. Thanks very much.
' Wrote:Doubt it, that would make 4.86 an update of 4.85 which it isn't. The change from 4.84 to 4.85 required a download of the new mod which you then activate in the mod manager, expect it will be the same this time.
There is an important difference. When we were updating from 4.84 to 4.85, Disco didn't have an autoupdater.
Still, I don't know if there will be an option of using the autoupdater this time. There will certainly be a separate downloadable file for FLMM.
So any word on updated enbseries as well? or is that a bit too much? I use one (v. 0.74b I think) with a nice balanced brightness/contrast, but it does have some problems with strange squares popping up around asteroids and things like that (but still beats the standard one). It would be nice if the graphics could get a little boost too...
